With the Pacific Ocean on one side, the evergreen Coast Range on the other, and a private hot tub just outside its door, this four-bedroom home in Pacific City is a showcase of the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast.

This home sits just above the ocean in Cloverdale, on a scenic piece of property with an open, rolling lawn overlooking the water and mountains. The main living space enjoys views of the ocean as well, offering two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, plentiful seating for movie and whale-watching, and a flatscreen TV mounted above a gas fireplace. This great room opens to the kitchen where you'll find stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar for three, and a built-in dining nook. Begin each morning with coffee at sunrise on the newly expanded deck with updated Adirondack chairs, come home at mid-day for a barbecue on the gas grill, and cap each evening with a soak in the private hot tub. Back inside, there's also a rec room in the loft with a pool table, another TV, and comfortable leather sofas.

When it's time to turn in, you'll have your choice of four bedrooms, including a primary suite with direct access to the back deck and an en suite bathroom. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer and free high-speed WiFi throughout the house.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Beach Vacation
The house was lovely. The views magnificent. There were even deer wandering around. There is so much to do in the area. The pool table was a hit with the younger people and several enjoyed the video games on the tv. We even worked one of the puzzles there which was missing many pieces. The whole visit was enjoyable and relaxing.

Great View in a large, beautiful but not so clean home.
Wow - what a view!! Great, large home with great ammenities. We so enjoyed our time in Pacific City. Disappointing on how unkept the home was, especially for the price. Half the window blinds were broken. One upstairs bathroom towel rack was ripped off the wall with pieces on a shelf and a large hole in the wall. All the bathroom rugs were dirty (ugh); should have been replaced some time ago. The pool room couch had dirt, popcorn, checkers and chess pieces in-between the cushions. I called support and was told someone would be coming to fix the issues. No one came the 3 nights we were there.

Beautiful but needs improvement
This home is beautiful, the view is amazing. The big deck area and private hot tub area is very nice. The inside of the house is so nice with the bedrooms upstairs and you cannot hear the noise coming from downstairs. It was disappointing how dirty the house was. Bacon on the benches in the breakfast area. Bacon on the living room carpet to name a few. A few other things that I found that I’ve never had a problem with is, general supplies like garbage bags, laundry soap etc… one garbage bag for the entire stay (3 nights) is provided, additional bags is up to you to purchase yourself. Same as laundry soap and toilet paper. There are still carpet nails poking through in the carpet between the kitchen and living room area. Refrigerator Ice machine didn’t work and water lever was broke. Such a beautiful house, it’s sad and disappointing that such a beautiful house with the price you pay couldn’t have been supplied better and be clean.

Beautiful home, but…
This home was nice and big and had an amazing view. There were a couple things that weren't so great. One of the smoke detectors was missing a battery and the battery door was left open. There are nails sticking up out of the carpet where the wood transitions to the living room carpet. The home was not cleaned very well, towels were left in the dryer, random toy pieces were under the couches, some stains on the carpets upstairs. There was a cigarette butt in a cup holder of a lounge chair outside, a dirty q-tip was left on the window sill in the living room. The utensils in the kitchen are the cheapest smallest versions you can buy and were falling apart. The refrigerator needs to be repaired. The ice lever doesn’t work and the water dispenser doesn’t even have the lever because it’s been broken off and you have to reach your hand in and try to push on the tiny piece that’s left. Overall our stay was nice, but was a little expensive for how dirty the house was and for all of the little inconveniences.

Amazing Stay
We researched a lot for a great house for our group with a deck where we could enjoy morning coffee together or drinks and snacks after a day at the beach. We absolutely loved sitting out there, enjoying the sun and the views! This house was perfect in everyway other way as well. It had everything we needed. Every time we wondered if the kitchen had something we needed, it did! Very short drive to multiple beach options. Highly recommended!

My 1st time
Rented this amazing house for my friend’s 60th birthday where we were able to gather her kids and grandkids. We loved the fabulous view of the ocean and spaciousness of this home. The huge deck is amazing and I was stoked to have the bedroom beside the deck where I could hear the ocean thru the screen door all night long. We drove down to McPhillips Beach where we parked on the beach and set up a spot for the day too. Excellent place for family gatherings! Loved Wind and Sails!

Oregon Coast vacation home with amazing views, comfortable interior, and great location.
We really enjoyed how nice the house was and all the amenities. The deck and spacious common areas were the ideal place to relax. The location of the house was perfect. It was easy to get to the beach, Pacific City/Cape Kiwanda, and other areas along the coast. We frequent the Oregon Coast and the area as well as the house are now a favorite.

Getaway
Had a fun trip with my friends. The house is large and open. Only a quick walk or drive to the beach. The view from the house is amazing. I liked that people could be downstairs listening to music and someone could be upstairs trying to sleep whiteout it being too loud. Houses aren’t too close together. We were able to listen to music and not bug everyone around us. We all had a great time.

Excellent even through a storm
This was was very cozy and perfect for having a low key weekend with friends. Unfortunately we went on a weekend with a big wind storm which caused the power to shutoff for half a day, but Vacasa and the homes owner were very quick to fix it. We spent most the time playing pool. Woke up and had coffee on the back deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Other than that one morning the weather was awful so we couldn’t enjoy outside more, but will for sure be coming back in the spring or summer when the weather is better to take full advantage of that outside deck and hot tub.
