"We were so pleased with this property! My family came to Cloudcroft to enjoy White Sands for a pregnancy photo shoot for our first grandchild. We have the most amazing photos! The home was comfortable, with nice furnishings; the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The hosts don't cheap out on extras. Our dogs loved the snow and the White Sands adventure. There are deer in the area. The hosts are THE BEST! We couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. We will come here again!"

"This is definitely a comfortable cabin in the woods with several of the mature pines built into the decking. The cabin has a terrific master upstairs (up some very steep stairs) with its own deck and a 2nd bedroom downstairs offering a walk in jacuzzi. The living / kitchen is not large but is comfortably functional and this room also has its own deck. There is a small fenced in area for you pup and nice grounds surrounding the property with a gas grill up some more stairs. We stayed during some fierce winds and some snow but none of the weather issues caused us any issues. The hostess was attentive and communicative. We enjoyed our stay and will likely visit this cabin in the woods again in the future. "

"Was a pleasant stay adjacent to the Lincoln National Forest. In fact a hiking trail was less than a minute walk out the back door. Though not secluded the neighborhood was quiet and respectful, and had daily visits by the local Mule Deer. There is a small fenced-in area in the back for dogs but you may have to leash your pet if they are prone to jumping over fences to chase deer. Also, if conditions are dry then you should have no problem driving your 2WD vehicle up through the neighborhood to the cabin. If you are into hiking then there are literally dozens of hikes within 5-15 minutes drive. If visiting White Sands then you’re looking at a half-day excursion to really get into the park and walk the dunes, which is well worth it. Last tip: meal plan and hit up a legit grocery store before reaching Cloudcroft, and maybe bring your own preferred cookware if you are picky. "

"This was a wonderful property. We were here for 4 nights and loved everything about it. Did not need to communicate with the host much, but when I did her response was very fast. We enjoyed everything, and it was as advertised."
