Charming Cabin with Mountain Views on 2 acres

Nice 2 bed 2 bath cabin, beautiful views, sleeps 4, plus recliner, reclining sofa, toddler cot, & infant pack n play. Cabin is located in a quiet subdivision 6 miles from the village of Cloudcroft. There is a large covered deck for grilling, eating, relaxing, watching elk, deer, birds & enjoying the gorgeous views! No steep driveways. The entire living area on second floor with an open floor plan for easy socializing. The kitchen is fully furnished. The bar has seating for 4 and the dinette seats 4. We have a toddler booster seat & step stool available for use. The living room has a recliner, reclining sofa, TV, internet, games & beautiful views through the large windows!
Cabin has new flooring and is newly painted. It is furnished well enough that you just need to bring food, clothes & personal items. The deck has a latch gate for children’s safety. The cabin sits on over an acre with lots of room for kids/adults to play any time of year. In the winter, guests can enjoy snow sleds & tubing on the property (not provided) or you are only 3 miles from Ski Cloudcroft for skiing or tubing. Tubes and saucers are available to rent or buy in the village.
This is a NON SMOKING & NO PET home.
ATVs/UTVs can be driven on the roads of the subdivision or taken to the nearby Lincoln National Forest trails or enjoy some hiking there. Less than 10 minutes from Cloudcroft for dining, shopping, golfing, spa, hiking, playground, ice skating, or skiing. Cabin is located about 45 minutes from Ruidoso for a wide variety of things to enjoy.

Wonderful Get Away!!!
The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sittings on the bad deck watching the hummingbirds and elk. The morning we left there was 35-40 elk grazing. Some came right up close to the cabin. We are coming back to stay in this cabin!

Wonderful getaway
What a wonderful place to get away for Spring break. The cabin was peacefully remote, but close enough to town that we never felt we were too far away. Great sunsets, and lots of wildlife.

Cute, clean cabin. Closer to neighbors than expected but no big deal. We were lucky to have tons of snow for our daughter to play in. Overall we had a good stay.

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Kitchen has all the supplies needed for any meal. Heater and stove worked well to keep us warm during the snowstorm. Only wish we could find the snow shovel instead of having to shovel the driveway with our sled, ha.

The setting for this cabin is just fantastic. The weather was wonderful as well. I had to interact several times with the owners due to my own mistakes and they were just as fantastic as their property!

The cabin was spotless. Great views. We enjoyed watching and listening to the elk and deer everyday. The cabin is centrally located to enjoy various activites and dining. We look forward to booking another stay!

Our stay at 42 Pines Cabin
Our stay at 42 Pines was extremely enjoyable. Everything was furnished nicely and the cabin was very cozy. The beds were very comfortable! All the small details combined made our stay very pleasurable. The Christmas Tree and Lights were a great finishing touch making us feel right at home. I would recommend anyone staying in the Cloudcroft area stay at 42 Pines Cabin!

Great mattress! What brand?
The place was everything we hoped it would be. Spectacular part of the country. The turkey hunting was tough as there were way more other hunters than expected. More than in New York state believe it or not. Could you please email the mattress brand in the main bedroom? I never slept in a more comfortable bed.

We had a great time, the cabin was the perfect size. It wasn’t nestled in the trees, but had a couple to keep the sun off the deck. Elk, would come up in the evenings while cooking and begin leaving around 8 in the morning while drinking coffee in the crisp mountain air. My kids are already asking to go back.

Beautiful and quiet location
Had a great trip. This is a beautiful cabin in a quiet location. Neighbors (Irene and Dean) were super nice and welcoming. Elk were around the house every night and morning. Hummingbirds around all day. Owners were fantastic and were quick to answer questions about the cabin and travel restrictions/covid. We can’t wait to come back back.
