"First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...

"Please add everything we need including a washer dryer, which was awesome because we are on a long road trip. Beautiful property and building very spacious, three bedrooms was super nice. We would stay here again if we were in the area."

"The property was as advertised and very secluded on a peninsula. The lake is quite with great sunrise and sunsets. Mike (property manager) was easy to get ahold of and pleasant to work with. "

"Beautiful home ! Everything we needed ! Warm comfortable and great views of Crough Patrick ! Westport is minutes away and so many great things to do ! Clew Bay , Matt Malloys pub , many cafes and shops ! We will be back ! "

"Our large group of family and friends stayed here for a week and enjoyed the beautiful Drawing Room for morning coffee, cocktail hour and nightcaps (made extra cozy by the fireplace). During the day we enjoyed the nearby lanes and paths that wander through the green and tranquil countryside. There are a lot of attractive and large rooms that are perfect for a large group, but bathrooms (and hot water availability) need updating (some toilet seats were falling off). That said, we'd go back....

"We had a wonderful time. Christa was great and so kind and helpful. The house was perfect for our group of 6. It was clean, cozy, and the bedrooms and bathrooms perfect. There was plenty of room and easily could fit a couple more. The location was perfect and there was a great space to park the rental van. Over all this is a fabulous house for groups. "Being near the lake, this lodging had a lot of humidity inside. It was a blessing to have nice hot water, good water pressure, and control of the room thermostat. It was also an added benefit to have a modem to enjoy streaming tv. We met Neil and he had some helpful suggestions for driving in the area "

"Great place for morning walks, trees were in full fall color, horses friendly and very quiet. The accommodations met were clean and met the expectations of or 2 couple party. Thank-you for a memorable stay "

"Odie’s Lodge was perfect for us. It was situated just a bit north of Galway and has amazing scenery as you drive through the roads. The host was very polite and had wonderful communication. The property was easy to find with a link the host sent as we arrive late at night and in the dark. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had plenty of clean dishes to use. Definitely a place we would stay at again! "
