The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."
