"We spent 11 days in Dan’s place. The apartment itself was great. This is a building with several units on multiple floors so a lot of people come and go. And they don’t all appreciate picking up as we ran across spilled food multiple times between the elevators and halls. The building seemed secure. "The property was as advertised and in great shape. Perfect place for downtown Des Moines and good communication from host on checking in and out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that outside of the loft and the first floor bedroom it could have used some auxiliary heating due to the cold. Since it was january a lot of cold air gets in through the window which isn't the fault of the host but just be prepared. We would use it again despite this. "
