"This is the perfect stay for those who holiday with their hound. Our room had its own private garden which backed on to a popular pathway. Our every need was catered for - from a welcome cake to a delicious breakfast and plenty of drinks for the room. There are dog-friendly restaurants nearby, including the lovely Devonshire Arms. The building is old so you cannot escape the uneven floors/doors/windows etc whilst that gives a charm it is also brings a slight inconvenience in that the window could not be opened to allow for fresh air. "My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.
