New Mountain Cabin perfect for outdoor enthusiasts- hiking, fishing, relaxing!

Are you looking for an escape from your busy life? If serenity, comfort, gorgeous scenic views, wildlife, and outdoor adventures sound inviting; we’ve got you covered. Get off the pavement and explore 3.5 miles of dirt road to your mountain getaway! Our road is an adventure in itself, especially if you've never been on a mountain road. You'll want a 4-wheel drive or high clearance vehicle. Chains or 4-wheel drive may be required if the road is muddy or snowy.

Off grid cabin with beautiful views! We have 2 mirror image cabins available this summer- one highlighting the sunset view and the other sunrise. (Please message if interested in both, or if you have a larger group and would like to see the Beavertail Lodge- all within walking distance of each other).
A spiral staircase leads to the loft with 1 queen bed and a futon which overlooks the front room(not private bedroom). Vaulted ceiling, large windows taking advantage of breathtaking views and open floor plan gives a spacious feeling. Full function kitchen with all the basics. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Custom cabinets and butcher block countertops give this a high end feel.

Activities await you in the big sky country! Many lakes and Blue Ribbon trout streams nearby for fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming or kayaking. We offer secluded private access to mountain trails for biking, hiking, 4-wheeling, etc. Close to several ski resorts, golf courses, and the KettleHouse Amphitheater, which is a highly ranked outdoor live music venue on the banks of the Blackfoot River just outside of Missoula. Garnet Ghost Town is a nearby favorite for our guests. We provide rental equipment for kayaking on the Clark fork River or Beavertail pond (please inquire for more details).

A nice mountain retreat
The property is beautiful and Glenna went the extra mile to be an accommodating host! It is considerably off the beaten path, so make sure to have reliable 4WD transportation, but she was clear about that from the start so we had no complaints!

Anniversary Trip
We stayed here Friday/Sunday as we had a concert in Missoula on Saturday. Location is about 40 minutes from the house to the Grizzly Stadium. You drive down roughly 3.7 miles of dirt road, with the last 1.7 being a narrow low traffic forest service road. 4WD or high clearance vehicle recommended. Views were great, the cabin itself was very clean. Come prepared, as it's not a quick trip into town. Glenna was great at responding to any questions I had prior to the trip. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a secluded place to stay.

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I loved the secluded cabin. The cabin was clean, and very beautiful finishes. Just note you will be driving down roughly 3.7 miles of dirt road, the last 1.8 miles being a narrow low traffic forest service type road. As long as you're prepared, it's well worth the view. Location is about 40 minutes from the cabin, to the Grizzly Stadium in Missoula. The lights even when turned off, will flicker on which if you're a light sleeper may create a concern for you. They are very responsive to messages, we would definitely return if in the area again. They have two cabins, we were located in the Sunrise Cabin.
