"We enjoyed the well-maintained well-equipped cottage. We got a guidebook that explained a lot about living at that cottage. Unfortunately, the heating in the basement, which was separate from the heating upstairs, did not work. Hot water for showers was a little problematic. Other than these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay there. Communication with the owner was very good."

"A second time back to Bluewater Sunset and we had another wonderful stay. The cottage has everything you would want for a fun getaway! We love the big living room area with space for everyone and the huge dining table with plenty of room for everyone to eat or play games. The kitchen is spacious enough to make turkey dinner for a crowd! If I had to make a suggestion for improving our stay, we did find the beds quite firm and a little creaky as you move around. "Sandy Edge was exactly as described in the listing. It reminded me of my childhood cottage time in a wood cottage in Muskoka. I loved the wood interior and the thoughtful layout of the cottage. We had 3 couples and 2 kids stay during our time and we all had our own space. It was nice to have a couple bedrooms on the main level so that we had our own area.
