"This hotel is a little remote but that adds to the charm. The staff were friendly and treated us well. The room was spacious, a little cool but well designed. There was a microwave and small air fryer and fridge in the room, however no utensils other than disposable bamboo plates and wooden cutlery, it wasn’t used but could be helpful to know. The breakfast was very good, fruit, cereals, pastries and cooked breakfast as well. The resident cat Doris is a gentle and friendly little old lady aged 19, she is a star member of staff "

"Well reading the reviews before our stay this seems to be a 'marmite' hotel. In our opinion, it was wonderful... lovely room with 4 poster bed and lovely friendly service. We went out for breakfast there are numerous options near by. It isn't a modern shiny, characterless hotel. It's a delightful hotel full of charm and original features. Thank you. "
