"We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!"

We were in town for my daughter’s doctoral graduation and decided to have the entire family stay together in a place that felt more like home and less like a hotel. "We had such a nice time getting away from the busyness of home to this precious cabin in the woods. Tons of room for the kids to explore and play outside. We all collected sticks for starting a fire and played tag in the huge fenced in back yard. The kids loved the yard games provided and the treehouse. It was very quiet and relatively private. The cabin was super clean and well decorated which I value a lot . We felt right at home. "
