"Stayed 4 nights at Saint Sever des Pyrenees and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. Located on the edge of a small attractive village surrounded by a beautiful landscape, views to the Pyrenees from your bedroom window, it really is a special spot. "The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...

"The property has very nice garden, swimming pool and tennis yard. The house however requires reconstruction, especially bathrooms (only one of three is OK to use) and kitchen (very small and difficult to manage cooking for 8 people). There are only 8 proper beds, not 14 as mentioned in the ad. In neighborhood are very noisy dogs, day and night."
