Dog friendly and even though dogs are not allowed in the restaurant they set up a table in the lounge for you so your dog can accompany you and provide table service. "Lovely hotel near the centre of Keswick and not too far from the lake. We booked a lake view, the room was comfortable and warm. The room comes with a good breakfast to start your day. Parking is a bonus, we had to pay for this as we had not booked direct with the hotel. You can park for free out the front of the hotel if you are lucky to get a space. Staff are polite and friendly. Great weekend, thank you. "

There are two pubs within walking distance which serve fantastic food: Coledale inn and Royal Oak.
