Solid Suncadia Option
This property is a townhouse near the main lodge. There is still construction in this neighborhood so it doesn’t feel quite as “Suncadia” as the older neighborhoods where we have previously stayed. The layout is efficient with four bedrooms (each with bathrooms) on the second floor and an open area with the kitchen, dining and living rooms. There is a small patio that offers privacy (but it does face the main Suncadia Trail road which means quite a bit of car, bike and foot traffic). The patio has a solid barbecue for grilling. A plus was having a two car garage that allowed for bike storage.
Since Suncadia manages the property, there is access to all the amenities. And, they are responsive when you need something (dish detergent, etc).
Check-in and out was easy.
We stayed over the Labor Day holiday weekend, which means we paid a huge premium over the normal nightly rate. Not sure that premium was worth it based on this particular property but it would be at the normal nightly rate. There were two couples and two kids (6 and 13) and plenty of space.
It would be nice if there was a sound system like Sonos to allow for music. And, we never found any instructions on how to operate the TVs (which all had Amazon Firesticks and Apple TV integrated). Just don’t forget to sign out when you leave.
One item to note...one of the master bedrooms has a strange satin (or some other very slippery fabric) as the topper. Sleeping on this was extremely tricky. Every time one person moves, the other person slides around. Not the best night’s sleep. The other rooms had normal beds. Good luck!
