Roslyn also has art galleries, shops, restaurants, and the Roslyn Museum, which showcases the town's mining history.

Coal Mines Trail: This scenic trail follows the route of an old railroad line and passes through the site of several historic coal mines. It's perfect for walking, biking, and horseback riding, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Whether you choose to take advantage of the many activities available in the area or simply spend your days and nights enjoying the lodge and its many amenities, we hope you have the time of your life.

Living Spaces:
Step into our dramatic great room – the heart of the home – where panoramic mountain views and cozy vibes await. A vaulted ceiling, full wall stone fireplace, and full-length glass doors offer both grandeur and boundless views of nature. Gather round the fireplace with the group to enjoy one of the many provided games or perhaps stream your favorite show on the big-screen TV!
Later, you may retreat to the games room, where friendly competition is the name of the game. Here, test your skill with a foosball table, ping pong, darts, classic arcade game and more. Loser makes dinner!

Kitchen/Dining Spaces:
Hungry? Our gorgeous gourmet kitchen is a foodie's paradise, complete with unique brick backsplash, stainless steel swag, oversized breakfast bar with industrial-esque pendant lights and plenty of counter space for your culinary creations. Fuel up for adventures at the large dining table or grab a quick bite at the breakfast bar before hitting the trails, the shops, or whatever else your heart desires.

Bedrooms/Baths:
Retreat to one of our five roomy bedrooms for a snooze fest like no other. The primary suite is fit for royalty with its king-size bed, mountain views, and private deck access. The en-suite bath offers a spa experience with double sinks and an oversized walk-in shower and tub, all in natural textiles. The second bedroom features a queen bed, with full bath just outside the room. The third and fourth bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, one with a queen and one with a king, sharing a full bath. On the ground level is a kid’s sleepover paradise, with 3 sets of built-in bunk beds, accommodating up to 6 kids (or kids at heart) for a vacation they’ll talk about for years! This level also offers a full bath.

Outdoor Amenities:
As beautiful and welcoming as the interior of the home is, the exterior is arguably, a vacationer’s paradise. From the epic deck with storybook layered mountain views, to the ultimately relaxing hot tub in the private rear yard, every member of your group will have something to love. The backyard firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs welcomes your ghost stories and tall tales, while marshmallows roast. The more active folks have cornhole and more to keep them busy.
And don’t forget the neighborhood amenities! Just steps from your door, you’ll find a shared pool, tennis court, and basketball court. For even more outdoor fun, take advantage of nearby sledding, cross country skiing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, fly fishing, and horseback riding. And downhill skiing is just 30 minutes away!
There’s no shortage of things to do at Goat Mountain Lodge. But we could never blame you for simply wanting to sit on the deck and gaze at that view, perhaps with a glass of wine, a charcuterie board, and your loved ones nearby.

Driving is necessary. Possibly 4 wheel drive in winter.
Our guests should arrive in their own personal or rented car. Four-wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter.
The closest major airport to our mountain cabin by Roslyn, Washington is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, approximately 90 miles away. The drive takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.

Air conditioning and WiFi are available throughout the home. There is a camera facing the property’s driveway for extra security and peace of mind. The bedrooms are accessed via stairs, so the house isn’t fully wheelchair accessible.

Back-up generator so no worries about power outages. (Power goes out 3-5 times a winter)

We have a 50 Amp outlet for plugging in your EV.

The driveway is steep and can require 4 wheel drive in the winter.

In the winter the roads of the community will be ploughed but it is strongly recommended that you travel to the property via 4-wheel drive due to some steeper roads leading up to the property.

Entrance to the Roslyn Ridge Activity Center is $10 person per day. The entrance fee is charged at the door (cash/check only). The Roslyn Ridge Activity Center is open between Memorial Day Weekend through mid June on Weekends and then everyday through mid-September.

In the winter find 4 child sleds for use and in the summer we have wagon with pool toys and pool towels for use at the aquatic center or lake.

There is a driveway-facing security camera to monitor road conditions.

NO Parties or events. NO Smoking.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The hot water was not working. The host thought it was a big deal. There was gas leak in the house and our entire family had to stay outside for 2 hours till the gas techs figure out what it was. Again the host thought it was normal and said the fireplace pilot was not working only. I won't recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect Friends Trip
This property was perfect for our group of 16 people (10 adults & 6 children ranging from 1 - 6 years old) and 2 Labradors! It’s always difficult trying to find a place that meets the needs of a large group, but this place did not disappoint. The layout of the house worked great for each family: Two rooms have walk in closets that came in handy for those that had littles that needed to sleep in a separate room. There was even a pack-n-play we could have used if we had forgotten ours. The master bathroom is beautiful and has a shower and right across is a shower-tub, which gave us more options to bathe the little ones. The oversized kitchen table fit all 10 of the adults and the kitchen came with everything you could think of appliance wise. We came prepared with our own drink cups to avoid unnecessary trash, but turns out, we didn’t need to bring our own since the kitchen had 8-10 reusable cups and wine glasses available. The kitchen also had an instant pot and lots of serving trays and Tupperware. It felt like the kitchen was our own because it supplied so many things you normally don’t get in a rental house. Having a large laundry room was amazing and allowed us to do laundry when needed and was a good spot for the dog’s food/water bowls and anything else we didn’t want to trip over. The deck and fireplace were used day and night. The view off the deck was breathtaking; definitely the spot you want to drink your morning coffee! It was the perfect place for the adults to hang out at night after the kids went to sleep. Downstairs was ideal for the family of 6; they took the bunk room and had the downstairs bathroom right outside their room. The large couch and extra fridge and freezer in the garage and game room were a bonus. The hot tub and porch back up to the hillside which provided some extra privacy and turned into the hangout spot for the dads. Location was also just as awesome as the house. The house is on a dead-end road, so we were more secluded than most houses, which is always preferred for large groups. The house is just a 5-minute walk down to the community center / play area and a 5-minute drive to the lake. And a very quick drive to town. Instructions for the house were very simple and straight forward, which is always a relief. The house provided tons of games and had a lot of room to keep everyone happy and entertained. Christian was very quick at responding any time I reached out and was very flexible and accommodating.

Wonderful property
Great property for recreation. Owner has many fun amenities - board games, ping pong, foosball, PacMan, ladderball and more. Great fun for families. And kitchen and kitchen utensils are exceptional, as are bath furnishings - soaps, shampoos, towels and wash cloths. Great sunny deck for sitting. This is a really fine property. It would be nice to be closer to a lake, but a short drive accomplishes that. Our extended family had a great time here.

Great time at Goat Mountain Lodge
My friends and I stayed at the lodge over the weekend and overall had a great experience. The photos were accurate. The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable (although the bunk bed ladders were a bit hard to get up and down). The house was well-supplied with towels (including dog towels!), kitchenware, and warm blankets. The dining table was huge and could fit our entire group which was great for family style dining. We also enjoyed use of the ping pong table, foosball table, and hot tub. The views were outstanding, with a nice deck looking out to the mountains. Overall, we would stay here again, thanks!

Great Weekend Getaway with Friends and Young Kids
The house was absolutely beautiful and so were the views from the patio off of the main living room. We stayed with some friends of ours and their young kids. We really enjoyed the games in the garage, hot tub, and open floor plan in the living room. Would absolutely stay again!
