Cozy cabin overlooking private lake with mountain views. Covered front porch for sitting and taking in the nature. Take an easy stroll down to the lake to feed the ducks or geese. The lake can be fished but it’s catch and release only. The lake is not for swimming. Easy access off of Hwy 441 no steep mountain roads.
Minutes to Clayton's downtown shopping, restaurants, Black Rock State Park, The Dillard House...
Scaly Mountain and Highlands, NC are just a short drive away

2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Master has queen bed and second bedroom has double bed. Our cabin is set up for a maximum of 4 people. No exceptions...(This is including children) Fully equipped kitchen. Washer/Dryer

Peace and Beauty!
This was EXACTLY what my family needed for a little weekend away. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the shower on lol — but Angie was super helpful and — for the record — you pinch down where the water comes out and pull. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Super Cute and Great Location
We had a weekend stay here for our anniversary. The location is nice and cute with a nice view of the lake. We especially loved the back deck and the friendly chickens around the property. The listing is very close to downtown Clayton(driving) and other attractions in the area. We were never more than 15-20 minutes away from good hiking spots and were able to hit up two hikes in one day with a stop at the cabin for an afternoon nap.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean & on a quiet street/neighborhood. Would have liked better access to the lake for fishing but all in all we would definitely go back.

Great Stay!
Angie and Tom provided everything anyone would need for a comfortable short or long stay. It is convenient to Foxfire Museum, Tallulah Falls and State Park and downtown Clayton. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great place in the woods.
Great little cabin in the woods, overlooks a small lake. Close to town to get your groceries. Great location for area attractions. We used as base camp to go Zip Lining, White Water Rafting, Mountain Roller Coster, and Hiking. Very well equipped for cooking. Cabin appears to be recently built so very new. Was perfect for our stay.

Excellent, quiet getaway.
My girlfriend and I wanted somewhere quiet and scenic to hide from all the craziness of downtown Atlanta. Angie’s property was just what we were looking forward. The view of the lake was beautiful, the property clean and comfortable, and everything was easily accessible. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you so much for the memories, Angie!!!!

Perfect Weekend!
We enjoyed our stay so much! We were looking for a weekend getaway and this was so relaxing. We really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the lake. We spent our day hiking and visiting antique shops. Our evenings were spent out in the balcony again playing card games. We loved our short time there and will book again.

Nice and cozy
This is second time I visited this cozy, beautiful cabin. Amazing view, we had everything we needed to stay. The only one discomfort, the shower head is not working, but hot bath is available. The owner is very nice and caring; a lot of places to see around that area. It's always pleasant place to stay
