"We were going to and from the Juniata Field Station during the weekend and this property was a great location for us. While there is no lake view, it is nice and close to the lake. There were four of us and we hosted two more for dinner one night. We had plenty of space, everything worked well, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. "Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. "

"This is a comfortable, small house on a gravel road in the woods near Blue Mountain State Park. Kitchen is well furnished. Property manager Tori was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to switch from a/c to heat. A great back deck with shade from big trees. Mostly quiet--an occasional car goes by on a bigger road nearby, and one afternoon there was target practice or fire crackers. A good place to relax and get away, but the wifi works if you want to be connected."
