"Lovely stay here as we were attending a wedding. The owner Cooki is very warm and friendly. Breakfast is lovely. Hot shower with plenty of towels available. The grounds are plentiful. Pool looks good although we didn’t use it. House is full of old French charm. Overall a great stay. Small criticism. Our room was en-suite.. however we had to exit our room to a corridor to access it. Not always handy with other guests. No aircon but maybe was never advertised. So our fault for not checking. "We booked this particular property because the property offered on the website a sauna, hot tub, coffee lounge, bar, restaurant but we found ourselves having to go out for a meal because the restaurant was only open on a Wednesday and after a long drive this was not what we expected to do. The sauna & hot tub were an additional charge 20€ for 30 mins. the other facilities were not up and running. We felt we had booked this stay under false pretences. I contacted Hotels.com and they assured me...

"Our stay was great. The property offers many amenities that one can not use them all. But the basic we enjoyed were very good. The location provides outstanding views from all directions. With the eclectic decoration, affable attitude, great service and location this property is idoneous. Even with a hazy, not too sunny weather, it has been the highlight of our 3 weeks road trip. "
