"It was a pleasure to stay in Villa Barbara. Everything was clean and place was quiet and looked like brand new. Special kudos to all of the complimentary food - cake, eggs, milk, wine, water, bread, cheese, salami, hazel nuts - everything we needed for the breakfast for couple of days. Enjoyed the mosquito free dining area in the garden with BBQ grill. "

There was plenty of space for all guests, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and perfectly manicured lawn and pool area. Marco, Lonela and Christian were great to work with and so friendly, especially through our language barriers. "This is a modernized hilltop villa set among vines and hazelnut trees. The vista is spectacular. There are two very comfortable bedrooms. The third bedroom has a sofa bed which we did not use. Many closets and drawers. Two very nice bathrooms. Large kitchen fairly well equipped for cooking. We are not so used to the little Mika coffee maker, and wish there was an electric one. "This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. It is tiny, with not much storage or countertop space. the marble sink is old and very small. It was a struggle cooking in there. "The house is in a beautiful location, surrounded by vineyards and nut trees. The view from the terrace is amazing and we enjoyed the shade it offered during the day and the pretty sunsets in the warm evenings. The pool is perfect - clean and refreshing with parasols and sunbeds for relaxing. It is also as big as it looks in the pictures! "We waren in Ciglie om een weekje te fietsen en hebben het erg goed gehad in Villa Elma. Ciglie is een schitterend dorpje, met niet veel meer dan een kerk, een kasteel en een restaurant. En vooral heel veel prachtige uitzichten. Alles in het huis is netjes afgewerkt en van goede kwaliteit. Recente badkamer met gescheiden douche en bad, al is de douche een beetje klein.
