"This villa is an absolute hidden gem in the mountains of northern Italy. The views are breathtaking and the whole property is paradise on earth. It has an unbelievably lush garden which within lies a pool that hasn't got a single leaf in it - i don't know how they manage to keep it that clean since the whole operation seems to be run by an eldery couple which were pretty relaxed about everything - for example, on arrival we were told to use absolutely everything we want on the grounds. "This was a complex of new apartments, supposedly having multilingual staff, the check in was slow and interesting as she spoke no English. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable with a shared balcony and some mountain views in the distance. We couldn’t make the air conditioning work but there was a fan there that did a good job. A five minute walk into Trichiana and there are bars and restaurants, we ate at the first restaurant we came to and it was excellent."
