Open first floor layout with hardwood floors opens up to spacious deck, 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Finished basement with bedroom, bath and walkout to screened in porch.

The 4 bedrooms include 2 King and 2 Queen beds with new premium mattresses. Sheets and towels are included with your rental.

The house has high speed internet suitable for streaming and remote work.

Outside enjoy private dock, large yard, horseshoe pits, screened-in porch, gas grill, various lawn games, fire pit, and plenty of parking!

Buggs Island Fishing Trip
The house was perfect we was in town for a fishing trip. The house had accesss to the lake with a dock to park a boat at. The hows was clean and easy check in process. Loved the stay and will rebook in the future.

Wonderful house, very nice owner!
The stay here was great! The house is even nicer than the photos! A lot of bedrooms and sleeping options. The game room was a great touch! Very close to Clarksville so easy to go to the restaurants. Owner was very helpful and thoughtful. Very close to Bluestone Boat Ramp which is a plus if you want to boat or fish! Would definitely stay again!!!

Another successful fishing trip
This is our third or fourth time staying here. Convenient location on bluestone creek. Close to Clarksville and within 15-20 min and shorter of all popular boat ramps. Plenty of boat parking for 4-5 boats. This is a must for a large group, no unhooking. This house has all the amenities one could ask for. All the kitchen utensils, two refrigerators, a grill, and much more! Thanks again Mathew for hosting us. You will see us again.

Long weekend getaway with family for fishing, cooking/eating great food, and relaxing. The 2 docks with hiking trails gave us options at the water. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Great Family Location
We had a great time. The house was clean and well stocked. All of the furniture, especially the beds, were very comfortable. The large table was perfect for big dinners. The lake was beautiful and very quiet our entire week.

Nice weekend get away
Very nice house for a getaway. House holds 8 people comfortably with very comfortable beds. Lake is a short walk with 2 docks. Would definitely stay here again!

This our second time staying here. Plenty of parking for 5 bass boats without having to unhook. Plenty of room in the house for 10 men, furnished kitchen with utensils, and a gas grill. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing lake getaway
This is a great house on Buggs island! We had 2 families and had plenty of room for everyone. This place had everything we needed including linens and towels, kitchen supplies, and outdoor chairs. We really enjoyed the dock and the lake, went swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Highly recommend this house.

Location and space!
Great location with a boat launch only a couple of miles away, and two docks at the property so you only have to make the trip to the launch once. Large home, many amenities, and a shaded back deck that allowed me to work out there even in the heat of the day.

Our lake stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this home on Buggs Island Lake (Kerr Lake). The beds were comfy and there were plenty of cooking supplies. The home is large so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The kids (and adults) really enjoyed the ping-pong, air hockey, and bumper pool. The dock at the lake was very nice. My grandson caught his first fish! We swam in the lake and enjoyed boating and wake-boarding. Great mini-vacation!

Enjoyed a great weekend with 3 generations at this house. Great dock and beach area to play off of and tie boats to. Loved that the house was well stocked with paper products, cleaning products including a good supply of dishwashing detergent and laundry soap, spices. The items we always seem to forget and have to make a second run to the store. Thanks so much for your thoughtful supplies. We will be back! šŸ˜ƒ

Location was perfect, great size for a group but the home need some updating. The pictures are inaccurate, maybe this is how it looked years ago. (Ex. overgrown brush, hammock not usable, beach picture inaccurate little sand -- wagon broken, chairs torn up on the old deck. On the inside several chairs were very worn and futons dirty) Truly Overpriced

Cons-Upon arrival you are greeted with 5 boxes of linens that you need to use to make up the beds. Some bags were labeled incorrectly and there was no color coding or system to match linens to beds other than to pull each one out and try to fit it on the bed. Who wants to fish through bags of linens to match sheets to beds after a long travel day? At almost $400 a night, off season, I think the sheets should be on the beds. No gas in grill, had to go out and buy. 2 dishwasher pods left for a Thanksgiving weekend stay, so again, we had to go out and buy. Weak WiFi so we couldnā€™t stream a movie. Dated decor-like your grandparentsā€™ camp. Pros-lots of space in house and yard. Lake is short walk away. Fire pit had logs for use. Quiet neighborhood when neighbor dogs arenā€™t barking.

Pros- kitchen living room area has a nice set up. Good for a small group to stay in this area. Bigger groups will have to utilize downstairs and front room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large. Mostly very quiet though sounds echo-. Large lawn area. Enjoyed the stars while out at fire pit. Having wood provided for fire pit was helpful. comfortable beds. Cons- definitely priced too high for quality of house and property. No view of the water from house. View from deck and patio is woods and junk (pallets, old rusted beach chair etc.) Docks are very unsteady and hard to walk on- you have to walk in the middle and walk slowly. Hard to carry things out on dock. Peeling paint, stains on rugs, couch cushions slide out making it hard to sit on. Garbage inside and out. Screened porch with concrete walls on sides with stains and screens ripped- not usable to me. Basement is definitely a basement- cement floor with peeling paint, dark- we did not use. Many mosquitoes on path and dock (in beginning of April)- bring insect repellent. Watch for dogs that sit in road at beginning of cul de sac. When we arrived I open all windows and clean high touch surfaces - glad I did as the high touch surfaces were dirty so hadn't been cleaned in a while. No cleaning supplies available at all (never had this problem before). Had to bring in paper towels from car and use what little dish soap available to clean with. Tried to contact Matt but contact numbers were wrong. Finally got him several hours later through vrbo email as we tried to figure out TV and dvd player (no instructions). Turns out DVD had been disconnected and no cable available to connect- so they have good movies but we couldn't watch. Matt tried to help but couldn't offer much. He said someone would come the next morning to look at dvd and would bring us some clorox wipes to clean with. No one came the next morning. Got a message from Matt and 2 in afternoon that someone would come between 5-6. At 6:30 we messaged him that no one came. Next door neighbor came at 7 and could not help- had no cable. Wipes didn't appear until the next day. He did direct us to paper towel which were in upstairs bathroom hidden behind toilet paper. Bring your own soaps, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc. Wood bees at front door. No info. on places to go or restaurants. Things in area only open Wed.-Sat. Screen door out to deck ripped- repaired with peeling duct tape. Bring own beach chairs. sandy area full of downed trees.

Relaxing Get Away
