Come and have a mini vacation in Sautee Start Line, a mountain cabin with views only few minutes from Helen GA.
The cabin sleeps 6 in real beds, two bedrooms with King and Queen beds, loft has another Queen size bed, sleeps additional 4 in queen size sofabed and futon. The view from upstairs is a great one to wake up to. Two small bathrooms with showers. Fully equipped cabin has hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, Wii-console, Playstation 3 with racing seat and steering wheel, HDTV, surround system, and more.
The renovations were just finished and you can take advantage of kicking back in practically new surroundings. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and appliances. If you don't like to cook every meal, there is a nice cafe and couple of home style- and breakfast serving restaurants within a mile from the cabin. Hot tub under the stars without the city lights makes an excellent place to watch night sky! Cabin has wireless 80+ mb verified speed internet for fun and work. Linens, towels and starter amounts of toiletries are included. The cabin has Netflix for those days you have exhausted yourself with area outdoor activities.

The cabin was clean and well stocked. The main living and kitchen areas were nice and had enough room. The bathrooms were tiny, but well stocked. It was definitely an older property but generally was well maintained with only a few slught issues.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything you needed. Enjoyed hot tub and fire pit.
We went on hikes, to one of the falls into Helen lots of people there. We thought that the prices in Helen were quite high for any of the activities.

Enjoyed the property and the amenities that came with it. Hot tube was clean and relaxing and fire pit had wood and everything. Grilled and all necessities was pretty much available along with extra towels. Definitely recommend it!!!!

This cabin is just the right size for our family. Teens loved the hot tub and fire pit. Adults loved sitting on deck enjoying the mountain views and nice weather. Look forward to booking this cabin again in the future.

Christmas vacation
We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. It was exactly as advertised. The owners were easy to communicate with. It was in a very quiet and peaceful location. It was very well stocked. We were within an hr drive of several towns. We love antique shops. The town of Helen was wonderful for Christmas. All of the lights and German atmosphere was great. Lots of great food and restueanfs.

Beds were very comfortable, showerhead was amazing. The only negative thing we have to say is you need to update the pictures (no mountain view from loft - trees has grown too much) and we had NO TV reception from satellite the whole time we were there. Overall, we would stay there again.

Quick get away trip
We had an amazing time staying at this property. The house was very clean, plenty of linens and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tube was a very nice addition and the owners even had plenty of firewood for use. Located very near Helen, GA and a gemstone mining business so plenty of activities to do. Would definitely go back!

Great Cabin
The cabin was everything that it was said to be. We had a great time while we were staying in the cabin. Had to call Heikki a couple of times about small problems and he came right out and fixed the problems, he is a great guy to deal with. Will stay in Heikki"s cabin again.

Great house for our group of 4 adult ladies and 2 eleven year old kids. The house was exactly as listed. The toilet area on main floor is extremely small however we made it work. The hot tub and serene location were amazing. We would stay again.

Christmas Visit With Grandkids
Our family of 4 adults and 3 children (age 9 triplets) had a wonderful stay, Dec 20 - 22. The cabin had everything we needed including a Christmas tree (nice surprise). The location was perfect for us. Just an easy 10 minutes or less to downtown Helen or to Cleveland where we ate a few times. Loved building a fire in the fire pit. Games to play for the kids and the grandparents alike. We had a great time and would stay here again. The communication with the hosts was excellent.

Honestly, I don’t want to be negative but this place was horrible. There was broken furniture, the ceiling looked like it caught fire and had smoke stains, the bathroom was too small to even sit on the toilet.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I have to with this vacation spot. It was by far the best that I have rented in the last 10 years that my family has been coming to Helen. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean, and had everything needed. My husband loved the grill!! Got to check it out! It is close enough to Helen and all the entertainment but far enough away to get the peaceful serene time with your fanily when you have had enough of the busy life in town. The check in was super easy and communication with the owner was amazing! My whole family comes to Helen every year at the same time, each family rent different spots so I will definitely be trying to get this spot for next year!! Highly recommend!!!
