Wonderful Stay!
The Honeybee was the perfect cabin for our getaway. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a very quiet place! Will definitely be going back to this place! We visited all the sites around us and went to the wonderful town of Helen Georgia. Absolutely loved the cabin.

Perfect location in the mountains, yet a short drive into Helen. Exactly what we were looking for. The manager of the property, Derrick, was very nice and accommodating. Will return in the summer!

Overall we enjoyed our 3 days. Close to Helen and quiet at night. There was no charcoal or lighter fluid for the grill and the kitchen could use a few extra's (like tin foil and spices).

The Honeycomb Hideout
Nice, private, perfect getaway! The charcoal grill came in clutch. Grilled the first night and enjoyed the hot tub on the private screened in porch. Our next day was filled with outings to a few places in the area which were no kore than a 15 minute drive from the cabin. Working the ac unit took some figuring out but nothing too troubling. The kitchen could use a few more glasses and utensils, but definitely enough to make do. The place was clean, area was nice, and we felt right at home. Overall greatly satisfied! Would definitely book again.

Great Stay!
My spouse and I rented this cabin for an anniversary get away. The cabin was great! We had great communication with the host and they were helpful and responsive. The only small thing- the kitchen didn’t have a wine opener, but we should have brought our own! Also, I bet if I had asked the host for one they would have provided, we just didn’t think to ask.

Weekend Getaway
My husband and I booked a last minute getaway to escape the miserable heat of New Orleans. The property was pet friendly. It was close to coffee shops, wineries, hiking trails, restaurants, and downtown Helen, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We had 1 problem with an outdoor light and the maintenance man was very attentive and on site within 30 minutes to assist and repair quickly. We would definitely return!

We loved the location and setting of the cabin in the woods. However, we were not happy with this rental. They need to replace the mattress and box spring because the mattress sank to the box spring and the springs creaked every time you moved in the bed. They need to replace the burnt out and all dim lights with LED. This place does not get much natural light so it was very dark without good light. The loveseat and chair look good but were not comfortable. The towels were thin and felt light you were using a loofah on your skin. The batteries were bad or empty in the remotes. Water was leaking from the water line below the hot tub and we were worried about the electrical power of the hot tub so this was not used.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the cabin for 5 days and we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was nice and clean and well stocked. It is secluded and quiet and great for a getaway! One thing we would recommend is a ceiling or portable fan for the bedroom, which was warm at night. Besides that, we lived it and will be back again!

We walked in and it smelled of smoke from the previous renter that used the fire place and it smelled the entire weekend even when we got home all of our clothes smelled of smoke we left the door open while we were there and it did not help… the hot tub enjoyed it the first night but after that it did not heat back up it stayed cool the entire time….

Well one of the reasons we picked the place was the hot tub. The hot tub did not look like the pictures it has aged. When we got there it was ice cold and never got hot the first night at all. Also if you plan on cooking bring your own knives cause there knives couldn’t cut lettuce. Also do not plan on relying on the internet at all. It barely works for the tv and will not support any of your devices
