The space:
Rosewood is a cottage with a difference. This luxurious two storey, two bedroom cottage is located on the quiet, peaceful, 1.8 acre grounds of our main home, enabling us to easily cater for any requests you may have.
The cottage is equipped with a modern, open plan kitchen and living room which is suitable for 4 adults sharing who wish to experience a private escape to the countryside.
The ground floor features two comfortable setees, a large TV, warm lighting, solid Oak floors, dining area and a large spacious modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built in fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, sink, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The first floor boasts two double bedrooms. The first is a chic minimalistic boudoir equipped with an incredibly comfortable double bed with memory foam topper. The second double bedroom includes two soft twin beds with a warm floral theme. (The twin room can be converted to a double bed if required).
Upstairs also includes a large modern bathroom with walk in power shower. On the first floor hallway there is a desk for computer use with free high speed fibre wireless throughout the Cottage.
There is a large 5 person hot tub (Great Lakes - Tiger Springs) privately located behind the Cottage, where guests can enjoy a relaxing experience under the stars.
The patio behind the Cottage is complete with table and chairs positioned where the sun rises so you can enjoy breakfast just as the sun is coming up in the morning. You can also enjoy an evening meal outdoors cooked in your own kitchen if you so desire.
With this accomodation the guest has the best of both worlds, enjoying a peaceful nights sleep, relaxing in front of the TV, strolling around the large woodland garden or melting their problems away in a blistful hot tub. Our guests also have the benifits of all the local ameneties only a short distance away. There is also free parking on site.

Guest will be able to take advantage of all the ameneties associated with the cottage and the gardens and local tranquil forest walkways surrounding it.

We are very happy to help our guests in any way we can. We are also happy to leave our guest alone, to enjoy a peaceful stay in their home from home.

The centre of Galway City is only 10km away, and Galway Bay sailing and Golf course are both located within a 10 minute drive, sited along the shores of Galway Bay.
Clarinbridge is the home of the Oyster and hosts rustic pubs, bespoke cafes and top class restaurants all located beside the Clarin River.
Morans on the Weir, old thatch restaurant, world renowned for fish lovers, located right beside the sea and only a few minutes drive away.
Paddy Burkes old thatch pub / restaurant with food for all tastes located within Clarinbridge Village.
Poppy seed - bespoke fine dining also located within Clarinbridge Village.
Oranmore village is located only 10 minutes away and also features top class restaurants, bars and shops. There are a great variey of restaurants ranging from Italian to Indian to Irish to Chinese. There are also lots of great pubs with particular nights designated to traditional Irish music such as MacDonagh's the thatch pub. Many of the pubs also host live bands, live traditional Irish music sessions and on scheduled weekends they also host country music bands.
Enjoy Galway City our beautiful City of culture, soak up the electric diverse atmosphere through Shop street and Quay Street, dangle your feet above the roaring water of the Spanish Arch, inhale the fresh sea air as you walk along the prom at Salthill beach and hear the crashing, therapeutic ebb and flow of the Wild Atlantic Way or just some retail therapy at the many large retail shopping outlets all over this historic city.
There are also numerous award winning restaurants in Gaway City including an exciting night life with a variey of night clubs and pubs with live music to suit all tastes and all ages.
Experience the unparalled views of the Cliffs of Moher or visit Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle in Connemara, approximately an hours drive away from the Cottage.
