"Chez Charitha is a lovely B & B in the centre of the pretty little town of Azay-le-Rideau, a couple of minutes’ walk from the chateau (well worth a visit). Charitha himself is the perfect host: welcoming, helpful and very generous. He greeted us with drinks and snacks (every welcome after a long drive), and gave us lots of helpful tips on restaurants, parking and places to visit. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."
