"We’ve just had the most relaxing overnight stay at 13Bees, what a real shame we couldn’t have stayed longer. The setting is magical, just overlooking the river, beautiful house with gorgeous terrace, lovely bedrooms, yummy breakfast. Easy walking distance from eatery’s & shops. "Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!"

"I arrived at address provided at 15.58 other 7th August. Property looked closed down. I rang and messaged owner several times. All records available on my phone. No answer from owner. I am visiting France from Ireland. I had to find alternative accommodation 16km away. The owner then messages me 4.5 hours after asking me if I was coming. Disgraceful. I will be applying for a full refund as this is not acceptable. The alternative accommodation I found was brilliant and it should be people like...
