"Great location in Vernazza, near the harbor area. Great view from the top deck. Be prepared…the description is true. Counting the top, it is 5 very small levels. Very small kitchen area and small bathroom on the bottom. Couch and small table on the second level. Bedroom on the third. Twin bed on the 4th. "

"Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was as pictures and worked great. The location was excellent, right in the midst of Riomaggiore. It was nice to have a place to park our car, even though it's a 15 minute walk from the room - that's the nature of these towns. Clean, and the host was responsive. Overall recommend! "

"Our family of 4 loved Cristina’s apartment in Riomaggiore! The location was amazing and we had plenty of room for my 2 teen boys. We would highly recommend this location, as it was very convenient with the elevator near the train station."

"the property was beautiful. The check in was difficult. We did not have the code and the property manager kept advising that she already sent it..and all we needed was the code to be relayed and her response was " I already sent it" when we are halfway around the world and just need a code, and a little guidance, she could have been much more helpful. perhaps too much of a language gap! "

"This is a beautiful spot with one especially cool feature: a private pier for swimming in the Mediterranean! The house is charming and the views are stunning. You can easily walk to Porto Venere, or to a public beach <10 min away. Very highly recommend this spot!"

"Best place to stay in Monterosso! Davide met us outside and familiarized us with all the apartment amenities. Appreciated having a washer in the unit. Spacious and comfortable to unwind after a long day. Location was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. thank you, Davide!"

"Margherita's apartment has a beautiful coastal feel, and view off the balcony could not be any better. The apartment is the best equipped of any VRBO we have stayed at in any country. Margherita is a delight and very responsive. Monterosso is the village to stay in Cinque Terre and then visit the other villages from this home base. The restaurants, shops, and more expansive space provides for a less touristy place to stay. We loved every minute! Grazie mille Margherita!!"

"I had a wonderful time at Rioggamoire! The property offers absolutely breathtaking scenic views that made our stay feel so special. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it feel like a home away from home. The host was also amazing—very nice, accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway. Highly recommend!"

"I accidentally booked a room without a bathroom, but since the hotel wasn’t fully booked, they kindly upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom at no extra cost—without me even asking. The woman who checked me in was incredibly kind and gave me a full tour of the property, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. My room was also spotless and nicely maintained. I was surprised to see this hotel rated as a two-star—I would definitely consider it worthy of three stars. They do offer luggage storage, but it’s in a public area, so there is a possibility that someone could access or go through your bags. However, I had no issues retrieving mine. The breakfast was excellent—one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, with plenty of options. The location is also very convenient, close to the train station, making it easy to get to without any trouble."

"We enjoyed our stay in Riomaggorie and Cinque Terre. This is such a great place to stay. We choose a bigger room that had a third bed, and we had great views of the water. The owners are very nice. While it does not include breakfast, there are groceries nearby to buy food. They have coffee and tea in the room. Will be back. "

"This property was wonderful! Couple of things to note about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre- there are lots of steps/stairs everywhere. This was fine for me but I could imagine others having difficulties getting around the area. Back to the property- the host met us at the train station and our room was ready early which was awesome for us after a day of travel. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. The host was available by text all day and he stored our luggage for us after checkout. Would come back!"
