"Cool older historic property, but smack dab in the middle of condos and townhomes etc. there’s a nice public park in front of the property you can walk around but there was also a homeless encampment across the road from the park. The room was nice but bed was a bit hard, our TV in the bedroom didn’t work (not a huge deal for us though since the one in the living area worked). "We booked this for my mother in law. I was nervous at first because, it looked like some the guest lived there. During the check in I left the gentleman know that I booked this for my mother in law and she would be staying there alone. He said oh I understand let me move her down to the first floor next to the front desk. That made me and husband at ease. She said it was overall quiet and the room was really nice and she felt safe. "

"This motel is situated in a peaceful and secluded area, that is just minutes away from shopping and historical buildings. The San Martin Airport Museum is within close proximity. Also, the staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. An affordable price within the South Bay of Santa Clara County. Gilroy is nearby and there are road signs to Los Banos and Merced. Highly recommended for everyone!"

"We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Because of an event we were attending on check out morning, we requested a late check out. The clerk was very kind and accommodated. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing I felt missing was a microwave. Glad we had a small refrigerator!"

Great Place to Stay

"The room was very nice and very roomy. Upon entering the room, we noticed the room was also very clean. It had a large flat screen TV, free coffee in the room. The bed was very comfortable. I have given this hotel a n excellent rating but there are few things I feel I should address. One is the shower; you have a rainfall shower head and a handheld shower head. If you look at the water handle it shows red one direction and blue the other direction which usually means the control of the water temperature. But in this case if you turn to the blue the handheld shower come son and if you turn to the red the rainfall shower comes on and you really cannot adjust the water temperature. The second also has to do with the shower, when taking a shower, I highly stress be careful, there is a tile flooring n the shower and it gets very slippery when wet and there is nothing to prevent you from falling in the shower if you are not very careful. Those are the only 2 things I can see that needs addressed. "

"Pretty, historic property. Theres a shop in the lobby which is handy if you're looking for snacks. I had a BLT in the restaurant and it was huge and delicious. Friendly staff. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the history of the hotel is interesting. A little isolated, but we just ordered an Uber for going downtown. Would recommend if you like historical properties."
