"My family of four (11 and 14 year old girls) had the best four nights at this villa. The house itself was so charming and well stocked, the grounds beautiful and well maintained, and the pool and welcome retreat each day after exploring the surrounding towns. We didn’t even touch the extra apartment with two additional bedrooms! Highly recommend!"

"Quiet, charming location which was central for day trips to Monte San Savino, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cortona, Montepulciano and many other villages in Tuscany. The pool was lovely, gazebo had honeysuckle and other flowering vines surrounding it which was a nice location to get out of the sun. Many olive trees surround the house and we did manage to see a wild boar, many geckos, birds and even a snake."

"This was a great villa in the Chianti region. The villa suited our group of six. The location was ideal for visiting Siena, Florence and surrounding towns. Roberto responded immediately to any questions we had. A welcome basket was wonderful, supplying any immediate breakfast or snack needs. The wine was a pleasant surprise also. Be sure to follow Roberto's written instructions to the villa. GPS gets you close but his instructions are needed! Would definitely recommend."

"This property is everything we wanted a Tuscan villa to be. We were 5 couples celebrating our 60th birthdays. We all had private bedrooms with private bathrooms. The location is perfection. We could walk to the historic town of Cortona in under 25 minutes, but our property was completely private with a view that was spectacular. In the morning the birds and church bells are your music and the flowers and fruit trees are in abundance."

"The pictures don't do the place justice. This villa is like something out of a Hollywood Rom Com set in an idealistic fictional Tuscan village. Not only is the villa and the views from every window simply stunning, the town of Loro Cuifena is one of the prettiest villages in all of Italy. The ONLY downside is that the drive up the mountain to the villa is not for the feint of heart."

"This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . "We loved absolutely everything about our stay in Cortona! Samantha and Alen were great communicators and made the check in easy. The apartment is perfection! From the tall, shuttered windows, beautiful tiled floors, high ceilings and amazing terrace, it was amazing!! The location couldn’t have been better and the views….. Even though I didn’t really use it, the kitchen was well stocked. All in all- wow!! We didn’t want to leave and hope to be back."

"you’re looking for a place to explore Italy, this is not the place. It’s quiet, quaint, and far from the city center. If you choose to stay, you’re approximately 22 miles and 45 minutes from the city center and airport. I’d highly recommend a rental car. While the campground has activities, they have activities on designated days (e.g. - there is a tour of Chianti Wineries on Tuesdays, a cooking class on Mondays, tours to Pisa or Rome (on a certain day) etc.). Depending on your schedule, it is easier to book a class inside the town and doing so offers you the opportunity to explore various parts of Italy. There is a bus to take you into town but if you’re looking to travel at your leisure, you should rent a car. There are other options for activities (e.g. rent a Vespa or scooter) but there is not much guidance on doing so and InfoPoint is not extremely helpful. The activities offered at this camp ground do not provide one autonomy to move freely around Italy nor participate in activities that are truly unique to Italy. Upon arrival, we learned the sheets, pillow cases and comforters were dirty and had holes in them. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Would I return? No. This is not the environment for one looking to explore Italy. If you’re looking for a leisure environment away from everything and everyone, this might be the spot for you but it was not the place for me and my family. I would recommend staying 1-3 days and nothing more."
