"Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. "Loved the villa type atmosphere with a very home-y staff. Very family oriented and unique. B, L & D meals were all prepared by a family of cooks (“the Mamas”) and truly fabulous tasting. Only spent 1 day there and wish we spent 2-3 days. A/C could have been colder as we were there during a 93F temps with very high humidity. But they have a pool in the back and a plunge pool in front. Great for a cigar outside at night. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this warm & friendly...

"An idyllic countryside location. Stunning views. The pool area actually looks even nicer than the photos. Very relaxed spot, with an added bonus of donkeys! Dinner was wonderful. Rooms are very clean and beds were comfortable. Fridge didnt seem to work, but that wasnt a big issue."

I did feel like their website and marketing photos were a little misleading, once I arrived because it is a very small operation with only a couple of rooms. Dinner wasn't offered because there were not enough guests, which I understand, but this place is pretty remote and driving 20 minutes to dinner and back was not something I had planned on having to do. "A really lovely family run hotel in a good location. Close to beach, restaurants and bars. Food in the restaurant was brilliant so we ate there every night. Breakfast was good too. Quiet and relaxing just what we needed. We had a very comfortable room which was well equipped and balcony and sea view for 4 nights and decided to stay on for a further 3 nights All members of the family were pleasant and very helpful..Nothing too much trouble at all. Would definitely come back "

"Leider eine große Enttäuschung, die Beschreibung im Text passt überhaupt nicht zu dem Objekt. Es ist zwar ein Haus aber wir hatten lediglich eine Wohnung oben, die nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen ist (davon stand nichts in der Beschreibung). Es gibt nur eine sehr schlecht ausgestattete Outdoor Küche und keine weitere drinnen wie beschrieben. Beim Inventar hat es an allem gemangelt, bei 8 Personen hatten wir z.B. nur 4 Tassen, viel zu wenig Besteck, Ofen der kaputt ist und vieles mehr. Die...

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."
