"This was my first time staying in a hostel. Overall I give it 4 stars because it was generally clean and there was AC (I came in August and it’s the hottest month in Italy). I stayed in the 8 person room with boys and girls. Listening to some of my other friends who’ve stayed in many hostel, they pointed out that this hostel wasn’t very sociable. There are common areas for people to mingle, but there are no events or specific meet up times, so it can be clicky. But once the weekend came there...

"This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s falling apart, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The bathroom is a room with a few showers that is shared by the entire floor, it was so dirty, wet and gross that I didn’t even want to step in it. I was placed in a room with other 4 big men and the vibe in the entire place was just shady. At night it was impossible to sleep, you can hear every little thing from the entire property. Better yet, their staff helped orchestrate our surprise engagement on our final night. "Staff at check-in was quite disinterested and did not provide any information about the property or local area. Security is quite poor, door to the room did not lock and no lockers available for personal belongings (apparently this is being renovated). Reception staff offered to store any valuables, but I discovered afterwards that the "safe storage area" was a completely open room where anybody had access. Nonetheless, property was quite clean. Would be a reasonable option for budget travellers...
