"There were 20 of us from 17-93 for this 70th birthday weeklong celebration. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and although grand felt like home. Plenty to enjoy in the lovely grounds - tennis matches/ croquet / hot tub under the stars. Very helpful housekeeper swiftly tackled any minor issues. We had the most amazing time."

It is located down a narrow lane, at the end of which is a parking bay for one car. We found everything we needed for 5, cooking and eating in the house, as well as in local restaurants. "Wonderful old house on great surrounds, although off a busy road. Unfortunately, kitchen not up to standard due to cleanliness and overall dirt everywhere. Oven desperately needs a good clean. Also plagued with flies seemingly living within the wall cervices. We enjoyed our stay after giving the place (kitchen in particular) a good clean."
