No tea/coffee, carpet had old stains on it, arrived Sunday afternoon to keys taped to locked front door. No staff on site at all, no restaurant & remote location. Reception locked up, only access through night door. No info in room. Disappointing stay."

"Quiet location, surrounded by woods, despite being within easy reach of the motorway. Management and staff made us, including our dog, very welcome. Room was modern and very spacious. Really enjoyed our dinner in the hotel restaurant, as well as the breakfast buffet offered. Added bonus for EV owners: charger outside the hotel ensures you are fully charged when you continue your trip! What a great place to stay if you are travelling through or visiting the area!"

"Such a great place to stay! We travel a lot by car between England and Sweden, so have stayed a few times now. We have two dogs that are welcome to stay in the hotel, and with one of us being celiac it’s possible to have breakfast as they offer great gluten free bread. There is also an electric charger to charge our car. "

The restaurant downstairs has fantastic food and a comfortable classy ambiance. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is large, and the outside balcony off the room is a delight during good weather. "Stayed here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. German cleanliness and efficiency as to be expected. The rooms are nice, wouldn't describe them as the height of luxury - but this isn't a 5 star hotel, so you get what you pay for! There is no fridge in the room, which is a little strange for nowadays... Wi-fi works perfectly, plenty of parking, all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The general area outside is beautiful, very nice to walk around the lake. The sauna, pool and spa area...
