Restraunt and bar manager was lovely and patient with my limited Italian language skills. Looking forward to returning to the Splendid. "

"Great couple night stay. Nice clean peaceful area of Palermo. Great manager owner, Sergio. The rooms were clean with its own private bath. There were nice big common rooms for coffee and socializing. Nice place to stay for a few gays or few weeks. "

"We were truly amazed by this charming, very spacious villa in every way. After staying in Palermo for a few days we wanted to experience the towns to the northwest and the was the perfect spot for it. The location was ideal and a short drive whether it was the airport of visiting the different towns and villages dotted along the sea. The views of the mountains and the sea at all hours were breathtaking and it was a priority to just sit and relax here. The Sisa store was a 10 minute walk/3 minute drive to grab groceries. The kitchen was well-equipped and a fun experience to make meals in. The pool was not operating when we stayed but it clearly a lovely part ofhe property. We loved meeting our goat neighbors! Can't say enough as to what a wonderful slice of life in Sicilia this villa provided us."

"This was the perfect spot for me and my group of friends to relax after a bustling day in Palermo. Our host Gabriele was very attentive and punctual. He was already there waiting on us to check in and was right on time when we were ready to check out. The property is gated and very private. We only wish we could have visited when it was warmer to enjoy the pool, but that shouldn't deter you as it made a great place for us to sit out and relax. 10/10 would stay here again!"

"A lovely traditional apartment with a very large spacious living room with a lovely outside seating area with table and chairs. Air con worked efficiently, great to have a washing machine, bed comfortable and again another balcony view. There are a lot of stairs up to apartment although we saw that as a positive way to do some exercise each day. Guiseppe was very communicative when we had questions. The beach is about 15 minutes away along the corniche surrounded by mountains so very pretty although a shame the beach and corniche were all a bit untidy. Accept that the end of the season so maybe tidier earlier in the year. A sheet with some instructions on about where everything is located or maybe a map showing supermarkets, bakery etc., and instructions with how things like the aircon worked etc., would be great. You can get from Palermo airport to Sferracavello by train and it’s only a ten minute walk to the apartment. We used the train quite a bit and have to say they are super efficient. Once you buy your ticket you must validate in the little green box next to the machine or around on the wall, Overall a very nice comfortable stay."

"The hotel is brand new within a renovated villa. We stayed in junior suite room, which was very spacious with a sea view and a balcony. The room was very clean, modern, with A/C. There were two smart TVs with ability to stream. The hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. Fabiola and Annia were very helpful and polite. The hotel is in an excellent location close to Mondello beach and the fountain with restaurants a short walk from the hotel. The bed was slightly too hard, but we got used to it. The breakfast was of high quality and very good. There needs to be a breakfast menu to help guide staff about what you want to eat. For example, there are small cereal boxes on the table, but no bowls and you have to ask for bowls and milk each day. "
