"Very easy to find given the directions from the hosts. We received a very warm welcome from Richard who explained everything we could possibly need for our stay. "What a treasure! Recently refurbished and in a perfect location. A luxurious feel to it all. The bedroom was really lovely, super comfy bed, with lots of thoughtful touches - even filter coffee in the room 😁 The owner, Cameron, gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. "I found hotel nice clean no friles tv did not work no coffee or tea or milk but did have a ketle and two cups and no on sweat forcilites just a sink in room therr eas a barth and toilet just down hall which was Clean which was no problime to me I had a grate sleep in bed the next time I go to redcar i will be stopping at the same hotel just loved it thanks for having me there."

"A wonderful hidden gem B&B. Lovely welcome from Pascal and his personalised breakfasts with his famous sourdough bread are delicious. It’s the special little things that make you feel special, hime made cookies in the room, canapés and bubbles on arrival. Bottled water in the room as well as plenty of beverages and toiletries. Great location for the coast of the lovely market towns and return after a long day to a comfortable bed. "

"Accommodation was clean bright and comfortable, continental breakfast was varied and fresh and we were supplied with more milk when requested. Only drawback is the flight of stair leading to the room which are quite steep and may be a problem with those who have difficulty with stairs."

"This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this hotel. The outdoor swimming pool was heated to a perfect temperature which enabled us to spend time outdoors on both a cloudy, chilly day and one with wonderful sunshine. There are 4 heated experiences - I loved the salt steam room. The quirky lounge is another hit- instead of loungers there are a range of huge chairs and sofas with blankets - perfect for a chill and/ or an accidental doze! Love this place and can’t wait to come back."

"The Stables love dogs! They cater for people and 4 legged fury friends equally! We had a brilliant few days being hosted at The Stables, located only a couple of miles from the harbour with easy access into and out of town it really couldn't be in a better location. The views from the bar/breakfast room are amazing and the staff really are top notch, friendly, helpful and everything you come to expect from a great hotel/restaurant. "

"Really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were lovely. They were having refurbishments done to the rooms. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and were very impressed with our stay. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel had great views and was a short walk away from the shops. "
