"Inverberg No 2 is tucked into a sheltered spot with a stunning view straight down Mulroy Bay to Carrigart. All three living spaces offer comfortable places to watch the constantly changing views of the bay and the hills beyond. Seals, birds, and boats all add to the scenery. Angela has a wonderfully presented property with all the essentials (and even a few extras to make sure we felt comfortable right from our arrival). "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."

Delightful Stay at Harbour Inn, Buncrana, Donegal

"During many past visits to Buncrana, I often passed by the Harbour Inn but never stayed until now. I'm pleased to say the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in until the time I departed, the staff, including Mary at the reception and Sinead during check-out, were exceptional. An unexpected incident occurred when one of my sons accidentally locked himself in the bathroom. The swift response from the wonderful staff to resolve the situation was truly commendable. They promptly arranged for assistance, ensuring minimal distress. Dining at the hotel is a popular choice, and it can become quite crowded. Heeding the advice to make a reservation was beneficial, leading to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, the Harbour Inn provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, matched by attentive and friendly service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It’s not just a place to stay but a delightful part of the Buncrana experience."
