Amazing Views - Ocean & Mountains! Chef's Kitchen, Sauna, Work from Home!

Quiet, private, light and bright, whole house with large deck and panoramic amazing views of the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet. Mountain views of Denali, Mt. Spur, Sleeping Lady, and the Talkeetna Range when the skies are clear. Chef's kitchen with convection oven; 5 burner gas cooktop; gas grill; Le Creuset cookware; Instapot; crockpot; variety of spices; sushi molds and mat; Ninja blender; electric knife sharpener; pizza stone; wok; and fondue pot.

House is 2 levels. Ground level has one large bedroom, a bedroom/office, one bathroom and a large family room with television. Set up to work from home with high speed internet, adjustable height desk, and dual monitors!

Second level has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, sauna, kitchen, living room, and dining area. There are decks on both the ground level and 2nd floor. The sauna is 6'x7' and will fit 4 adults. Electric heater. Turn on the timer and have it hot when you return from a day out playing Alaska.

Our comfortable and well stocked home is in a very relaxing and private setting. The sunsets are amazing anytime of year and there are views of the mountains and ocean from the entire main floor of the house. The lower level is surrounded by nature. We often see moose and occasionally a bear wander through the yard and past our windows, especially from the office space.
Our house is located on a hillside. All-wheel drive or 4WD is needed when there's snow on the ground for access, generally October - May.

Three Bears Grocery store is a true Alaska experience and is only 2.2 miles away. Bella Vista Pizzeria is 3.2 miles and has awesome food. There are also a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and businesses in Eagle River, 6 miles away.

Nearby recreation opportunities include hunting, fishing, golf, XC and downhill skiing, hiking, paved bike trail, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, ATV rentals, dog sledding on the Knik Glacier and scenic flight tours over the glaciers and mountains in our back yard!

Anchorage Experience
We were a group of 6, family and friends, exploring the Anchorage area. The home was perfect for our needs in having a place to rest in the evenings and explore during the day. The home would have also been great if we would have had the time to spend a day just resting and looking at the great view from the porch and the living room. One of our days was clear and we could see Mt Denali from the porch, and what beautiful pictures we were able to get just from the porch area. The home provided us with the amenities we needed since we had traveled a long way from home, Ohio and Tennessee. We all truly loved our stay in Anchorage and the home Heather so graciously let us borrow for the week. If we return to this area, which we are hopefully planning a trip here next year, the home will definitely be our choice of places to stay and we will plan a day just for relaxation and enjoying the views from her home, and maybe even cook a meal in the well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful and Welcoming
The home was very welcoming and beautiful. The scenery from the deck is gorgeous. We had enjoyed our stay very much. We mostly appreciated how the hosts were accommodating and easy to work with. We highly recommend this place.
