"Great stay, not really too sure why people have left negative feedback for this place ? I can only imagine they have Rolls Royce taste & Skoda budgets as the saying goes ? Im a sales rep so i stay away quite a bit. yes this place isnt the most luxurious - but look at what you pay. It ticked all the boxes for me. & i stay away quite a bit. "The room was very cosy and clean. The bed was comfy and we both slept really well (in part because it was so quiet too). Massive TV with all streaming services available, tea and coffee making facilities and a powerful electric shower. The room could do with a little bit of touching up and maintenance but this was greatly outweighed by everything mentioned above. We had a few drinks in the pub both nights we were there and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious car park available...

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"We stayed here one night, we will be back we loved it, lovely clean tidy room, homely, not kneen that dogs could stay in our room I'm very fussy! We had an evening meal the food was excellent a sunday roast very very homemade and very tasty, some nice pubs around the street to check out too."

"Delightful Tudor pub with 7 bedrooms in a quiet village. Tis was a perfect stopover and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the main pub area in the morning. Will definitely come back and recommend."

"Great location with lots of walks. 5min from railway station. Lots of places to have a drink and relax. The cottage has everything we needed and felt very comfortable. Will definitely be back. "
