Beautiful beachfront condo with a spectacular view of the ocean... perfect for a private getaway that is close to the action or to just a great place to relax. This 1 bedroom unit is the ideal place to get away.

Very few rentals have this direct view and access to the beach and ocean. This condo boasts a large, completely private balcony while still providing a spectacular view of the beach, Long Reef, Christiansted and Buck Island.

Incredible sunrises will greet you each morning as you drink your morning coffee while the sunsets are best viewed while sipping a glass of wine, a cold beer or some Cruzan Rum.

Stroll out to the beach to sunbathe, relax in the shade under a palm tree or wade into the calm waters for a swim. Long Reef provides a break for the waves in addition to prime snorkeling directly from our shore.

Stroll the beach in either direction and you are guaranteed to find countless shells, coral, and other treasures from the sea.

Or if you prefer a less sandy swim, the private pool built around a historic sugar mill is open for condo guests to enjoy 24 hours a day. Included is a full kitchen as well as BBQ grill and plenty of deck space and lounge chairs. Swim up bar tables are built into the pool, providing a relaxing way to cool off. Tennis courts and basketball also available.

The condo features air conditioning... or enjoy the constant, comfortable temperatures of the Caribbean by opening the balcony sliders and louvered sidelights to allow the gentle breeze and relaxing sound of the waves into the unit.

The bathroom is fully stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. A washer/dryer will allow you to pack light for your trip.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware as well as a stove/oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. Coffee pot, toaster and blender (for your frozen mixed drinks) are also provided.

Free WIFI is provided as well as satellite TV.

Sugar Beach's prime location puts you in the center of the action while remaining very private. The condo is within a short walk to 2 restaurants. A short drive will take you to historic Christiansted (designated a National Historic Site and it's boardwalk and quaint shops, or to the world class snorkeling and scuba diving of Cane Bay and Buck Island ( Visit the west end of this 26 mile island to experience beautiful beaches, the unique Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve ( and dense rainforest all within a few miles of each other. Or drive to the east end to view the easternmost point of the United States at Point Udall ( If you are a golfer, St. Croix offers three beautiful and scenic golf courses to choose from (Buccaneer Golf Course, Reef Golf Course and Carambola Golf Course). A rental car is not a necessity but is recommended.

Lovely getaway

Dont hesitate to book this condo. It is clean, spacious, and beachfront. The proximity to Christiansted is perfect. You are near everything and yet far away enough for relaxation. We will definitely return.

The condo was conveniently located near Christiansted with an excellent beach and comfortable king sized bed. The pool was not as clean as we would've liked, but was built onside an old sugar mill so vwry cool

Incredibly relaxing!
The property is located on a lovely stretch of beach. Great for snorkeling, watching waves break and the sea plane take off and land. We were in need of a comfortable, quiet, central location and this was perfect. We would love to return. The owners were great, the other people at the condos were lovely, including our owners mom, who we found out used to live in our same area! And being greeted and sent off by Ginge the cat was a bonus. Beautiful view, great beach, wonderful pool. What else do you need? Great place!!

Wonderful Stay!
My wife and I spent 3 weeks at Eric and Shannon's condo on Sugar Beach and we absolutely loved it. The condo was charmingly decorated and was spotlessly clean. It was complete with all the necessities required for daily living and included many supplies that weren't expected but were very much appreciated. The location was amazing - right on the beach and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Even though you felt removed from the rest of the town due to the beach location, stores were very close by. A car is recommended. We would highly recommend this property.

Serenity Now!
The description of the property was very accuate. The view from the deck was so beautiful and peaceful. Honestly I could spend a week just sitting and embracing the beauty. The staff cleaned the beach every morning and the grounds crew did great work keeping the entire grounds manicured. We saw guys barebacking racing their horses one morning on the beach. Kite surfers the next. Wind surfers the next. Just a great spot that is far enough away from the towns but close enough to visit. We are at the airport now, talking about returning already. Next time we will bring our kids and will need another bedroom. However, this condo was perfect for a romantic getaway with just my wife. Loved it. Thanks for Sharing your paradise!

Sugar Beach
The property was clean, bed comfortable, etc. We have been to Sugar Beach Resort and stayed in a different condo many times. This was a smaller unit ( which was fine and met our needs) and was accurately advertised/represented on the site. I might suggest the owner having a few kitchen items such as : coffee filters, dish soap, plastic cups to take outside or on the veranda. Also, there was only a small roll of toilet paper when we arrived. That was probably a cleaning crew oversight, I imagine. Thanks.

What they said, but also what they didn't
The place had everything pictured. Ocean access, a full kitchen, a king size bed, and a washer and dryer. However when we got there the beach was full of Sargasm which was rotting and giving off an awful smell. The staff were doing their best to clean up the mess but it was too much to keep up with. As for communication they left a book out that was helpful but the office only had hours of 11am-2pm on weekdays. This was frustrating as we arrived on Saturday and wanted to do things during the day. When we got there the AC also did not function. The ocean breeze was cooling but not as much so as good AC. The internet log in process was also sketchy the email said "do these things to access internet" but once I did those things I got an email saying "thank you for your purchase" as far as I know we were not actually charged and the person in the office on Tuesday did say that it was free but I spent a lot of time feeling as if I had been duped.

My wife and I spent a week here in September / October. It was a great condo with wonderful views. The beach was nice for swimming and snorkeling, saw a stingray and lots of fish. The pool was fun, we took advantage of the grill to make some burgers. The condo had most everything we needed. It was nice to have extra beach towels and chairs. We basically had the whole complex to ourselves considering it was the off season. The owners were kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Communication with owners was perfect. We had trouble with Internet, but Eric got that sorted right away. Wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. Amazing sea breezes. No need for AC even in summer. That said, condo does have AC if you are silly enough to use it.

Eric and Shannon are the best owners I have rented from. They have superior communication skills that are sometimes difficult to find. From the moment my flights were canceled three times, I was already on the edge. As soon as I opened the door to this rental I could tell the owners are working so hard to update this condo. I love opening a front door and being able to see the balcony overlooking the beach. Great size living room and bedroom. I loved the bathroom. This condo is a great rental for someone who has never been to St. Croix. It is perfectly situated to where you can comfortably find your way around town. I will definitely rent this condo again.

The bed could be upgraded as it was a very firm spring mattress that was dated, the couch sounds like it’s going to fall apart when you sit down. There was a huge wad of hair in the washer. I liked how there was snorkeling stuff available.

Exactly as advertised!
Hubby and I had a great visit to STX. Sugar Beach is perfectly situated for easy access to anywhere you want to go on the island, and the condo is stocked with everything you could need for your getaway. Communication with the hosts was excellent and the guidebook they sent out before arrival was fantastically helpful. We had a small problem with the wifi and Eric was immediately available to help get it resolved. In terms of the condo itself, I'm pretty klutzy, so I was a little worried about the staircase to the bedroom, and it did take a bit of adjustment, but it's certainly navigable, so don't let it scare you off. The beach isn't necessarily the best beach for swimming, but it's an easy drive to any others you want to visit and it's perfect for a peaceful place to sit and listen to the waves, soak up the sun, and watch for rainbows.
