"This place is absolutely perfect for a family stay. The sunsets and views are fabulous. The porch is huge and is the perfect place to watch the sunset and feel the breeze off the water. The cottage is very spacious and extremely clean. If not having immediate access to the water isn’t a big deal to you then this is the perfect place. We had family staying in Whitestone so we drove over every morning and accessed the water there. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning to book next year!"

"We stayed here during a visit to the historic triangle, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown with our two daughters and two dogs. Maybe we didn't read it right, but we unexpectedly. We're thrilled to find a fence in yard. The dock was nice for fishing and while we didn't use the boats, it's nice that they were there as well. The house was clean and plenty big for all of us. It's about 40 minutes to Williamsburg and a little further to Busch gardens but we were able to have all the amenities of a riverfront property and not be too far from all those attractions. A+"

"It was everything it said it was and more. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood. Soft comfortable beds Kitchen was fully stocked with any thing you would need Nice place to sit outback and have breakfast and watch the birds and listen to the river. Husband loved fishing from the dock. Play ground right next door if you have little ones. We loved it and will definitely keep this site to stay again. Wonderful Host. Very helpful Great place to stay😊"

"We enjoyed the pier most of all. The fishing was nice and we had some luck catching spot, croaker, mullet and a few skates. The week was very quiet and peaceful. We found the house to be very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was just having one bath. It needs a half bath or an outdoor shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again."

"Beautiful spot on the river - we enjoyed getting out in the canoes and kayaks, lounging on the hammocks, playing cornhole, and cooking out on the deck. The home was comfortable and plenty of room for our family and kid’s friends - we had 8 total at one time. We’ll be back"
