Fab short break
Great property in a lovely location - wonderful to be able to walk to the beach! Beautifully presented property with excellent ground level amenities for those with less mobility. Perfect for a short break in celebration of a special birthday. We were a family of 6 aged 22-82 and it was perfect for us. Somebody even ordered beautiful sunny weather for us too!! 😄

Fabulous stay in Highcliffe
The property was even better than the photos and description online. There were 8 of us plus dogs, but we never felt on top of each other. There was so much room and the glass room was a great feature, especially for drying the dogs. Everything was spotless and the rooms were large, bright and airy. We made good use of the dog towels provided, and the garden was perfect for them, large and secure. Our host Helen was so helpful and we went to The Oakes pub on her recommendation and loved it, the food was amazing. The property was in a perfect location in a quiet road and minutes from the beach via Highcliffe Castle . All in all a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Excellent property, perfect for multigenerational living
We have a soft spot for the area (so many beautiful beaches!), however had never stayed more than one or two nights previously in hotels and B&Bs. The property suited our family perfectly. My mum and dad, both in their 70s with mobility issues, could use the downstairs bedrooms and en suite shower room, whilst my family (2 adults, and an 8 and 13 year old), could use the space upstairs (also with our own shower room). The garden was also fantastic - a great place to enjoy quiet reflection whilst watching the fish in the pond. The host was great throughout, would recommend this property to any family who wants to enjoy the Dorset coast.

Property was modern, clean & well maintained. It was light, bright & spacious. The garden especially was very well maintained and we found everything just as was shown in the pictures on the website. Good location, close to pubs, beaches & Highcliffe Castle. Quite location, very peaceful. All helped to enable us to have a good family restful holiday.

Family holiday
The property exceeded our expectations. Some of the the rooms had been decorated since the photographs we had seen had been taken and they looked lovely and fresh. The garden was beautiful and great for the children to run around in. The house is very well equipped, there was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. The location was great for getting out and about both in the car and on foot. Thank you Helen for helping to make our holiday comfortable and memorable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the New Forest but also near the beach.

Home from home
The property was more than the pictures on the site. It was very clean and tidy. We were a bit anxious about staying as my husband, my son-in-law and daughter suffer from asthma and sinus problems and as dogs are allowed we were worried about smells and hairs causing a problem. We need not have worried though as the house was very clean and only pleasant smelling. If the guest before us had a dog we could not tell. Helen was very supportive and accommodating throughout from start to finish. It was such a shame we could not make more use of the garden as it is a great space to just relax in but it rained most of the time. Helen would have fixed that too if she could. We would not think twice about staying here again as we loved it.

Lovely Property
3 adults, 4 teenagers and the dog. Plenty of room for all of us with 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms. 3 shower rooms were also a great help getting us up and out in a timely fashion in the mornings. Having the garden room as well as the living room was also fabulous giving the adults and teenagers their own space in the evenings. Dinning area and garden dining area were also more than comfortable for the 7 of us. Garden was fabulous and secure for the dog. Kitchen had everything you could ever need (although we ate out most days- apart from a BBQ which was also great). Lovely quiet area, minutes from the beach and close to some lovely seaside towns, and New Forest villages. Would highly recommend for slightly larger groups/families. Thanks Helen!!

Beautiful garden. Huge and interesting. Immediately felt we were on holiday. Glass conservatory a pleasure to sit in - we spent most of our time there. Aunt aged 95 from US loved the house, the decor and especially the garden. Despite walking difficulty was able to get into and around ground floor and garden with ease. Quiet street with parking and easy access to Highcliffe Castle, New Forest and other places.

What a lovely find
This is one of those finds you don't want to review because you want to keep it to yourself. The property was perfect for us as 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The kids took themselves to the beach every day - a short walk away and the garden is lovely to enjoy. Highcliffe is not a bustling hub and that was perfect for us. Helen our host was always speedy to respond and answer questions and the property had everything we needed. Thanks for having us!

Lovely seaside break
We had a lovely break here for a long awaited family get together. The property was as described, well prepared and suitable for our group of 8. It was very clean. The outside space is lovely, as is the glass room. Location is ideal, 2 minute walk to Highcliffe castle and from there out and down to the beach. The beach has a range of cafes/restaurants/shops in either direction if you're looking for a walk and a coffee or a meal out. The high street is nearby with grocery shops too. We also enjoyed cycling in the New Forest. The owner was very responsive to our questions before arrival. Would recommend.
