"The hotel was extremely convenient as it was close to Bayonne railway station and a walk just across the road. The room was basic but extremely clean, staff polite and I’d certainly stay there again. No bar or real restaurant but a buffet breakfast was available for an extra charge. Very easy to walk across the bridge to Bayonne old city and find numerous bars and restaurants so really not an issue. "

"I really liked this place. The room was clean, basic, one person, large bed. What really makes this place worthwhile is the location. "Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot.
