"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"I like the location a lot bc I used the train station multiple times and it is just right there. There is a grocery store close by and a tram which are convenient. If you are a light sleeper as I am a white noise app on your phone will help with the street noise. Overall very happy there."

"Stayed at this home with my wife and two older teenage kids. The house is in a great location and a short walk to lots of restaurants and 15 min walk to the Blois Gare. Right next to beautiful historic Saint Louis Cathedral and close to the great Denis Papin staircase.The N1/N2 bus (free bus) was close by and really helped to get around. The house was awesome and comfortable. Its is a walk up though (if you have trouble with stairs). The house was stocked with everything - plates, pots etc...

"The property is great. A few unexpected things. The Lock box is a 10 minute walk from the train station up hills with luggage then you have to go back down and go 15 minutes the other direction to the property. The property door is rust not the red one. The building stairs are not for someone who can’t carry luggage up old stairs. Great for us as we took carry on luggage only but if you are older or have knee issues be warned it’s 3 flights up. We liked our stay and location could not have been...

"Loved the town of Amboise and how convenient Jacky’s apartment was to everything. Two couples shared the well equipped place with plenty of room to stretch out. "Celia was an excellent host suggesting restaurants, providing a number for taxi- rarely needed it is so well located. And allowed us to store bags a few hours beyond checkout which was appreciated. There was an “ unofficial greeter” sleeping on the sidewalk everynight which could be true in every city center and is beyond anyone’s control.
