"It was our first time staying at a Marston’s hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was great with fluffy towels and tea and coffee making facilities. The room and bathroom were clean and really there wasn’t anything to complain about. Breakfast was sensational too! "

"Great Inn, brilliant food and great rooms. William was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. An isolated location, but all the better for that. Cannot recommend this establishment enough. Brilliant garden and outside facilities for the better Scottish weather."

"About 14 minutes from Berwick in a quiet spot. Very comfortable room. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, just ask and you get. Highly recommend but only have 2 rooms so be quick. "

Well located, all the amenities that you could need (the iron was especially helpful...) and a lovely communal space to relax and look at the beautiful view. The beds were made up as two doubles for us and our friends which was really helpful too. "

"The value and the ease of the place to find and get settled in was really good. It's a shame some other places need a good lick of paint. But please don't let this put off staying here. It deserves 5 stars all the way and the breakfast included is extremely good. Jade was very helpful in the choice at hand. Would I stay again? DEFINATELY. A very BIG THANK YOU."
