If you are visiting I suggest you try Boquete where you will be pleased. If spending a few nights in David then Alcala is certainly acceptable. "My husband and I stayed in Villa #4 at Bocas del Mar Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful. Newly updated and a great view of the bay and the gardens. The restaurant staff are top notch. I can't say enough about the service. The front desk staff, again, just amazing. Customer Service at this resort goes above and beyond. The breakfast was fantastic and the dinners - both the food and the views - were spectacular. Tours were available and pick up is right at the resort's dock. "
