"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"

"The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing fortnight at Jerome’s lovely villa. The setting was absolutely stunning and the villa very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful views from every window and terrace. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by the family, very clean and a good size for swimming. The villa is also well located, within a short drive to amenities and lovely hilltop tows but peaceful and not overlooked. Jerome was a great host, always quick to respond to any questions and generous with his knowledge of the region. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jerome. "

"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"Europa is a mid-range hotel in the newer section of the city. The accommodations are basic, but ok. The breakfast is basic, but ok. Prior to the arrival, the hotel repeatedly sent us messages regarding its restictive check-in times and payment policy. On several occasions we tried to call them with payment, but the phone wasn't answered. The main issue we have with this property is regarding security. We were given one electronic cardkey, which had both the hotel name and the room number on it. That's a huge risk, if the key gets lost. A light outside the room door illuminates red or green, depending on whether the electronic cardkey is in the slot inside the room. That clearly shows if the guests are in or out. So, if you dropped the key on the street, there's now a clear security risk. The safe inside the room was apparently attached to a thin backing on the back wall of the wardrobe. "Apparently", because in our room it was thorn out of the wall, revealing a big hole in the backing of the wardrobe -- and being completely loose. Not terribly effective for a small safe."
