Perfect Cotswolds Stay!
My wife and I spent a week at Pitchers House and it was everything we had hoped for and more! Excellent location for exploring the lovely Cotswolds village of Chipping Campden; walking the nearby trails; or heading off for short drives to Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters and more. The house was well-equipped with a full working kitchen, laundry, great shower and a very comfortable bed. (There are more showers and beds but we didn’t need them.) The garden outside the kitchen window was beautiful. Penny was very helpful setting up our booking and Caroline the housekeeper was very friendly answering a couple of questions that came up during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed Pitchers House and highly recommend! Thank you!

Great Location and accommodation was as described
What a lovelt old place. Right on the high street and very original property with quirky Cotswolds exterior. ON three floors with flexible bedrooms it worked great for our party of 9. A nice garden at he back and direct access to the Main street made it a good location for local restaurants and shopping as well as being a great Location to explore the Cotswolds. A lovely y warm kitchen with a gas AGA and good downstairs areas for dining and relaxing. Not in brand new condition but provided a great holiday for the whole family. communication with the owners was good and we woudl return to this property

Lovely stay but cut short re COVID.
The property and setting was fabulous. However due to COVID restrictions altering on 27th December we were not allowed to stay re government guidelines. Because of this we lost 6 days of rent. VBRO never once contacted us to say we not be staying in holiday accommodation but we abided by the government rules and feel VBRO should have been in touch. .

We had a fabulous stay!!
This property is even nicer than it looks on the website and it was a delight to stay in a place with my family that felt like a family home! It is honestly the best equipped self catering accommodation I have rented. With a very young grandchild and a dog with us we are in lots and I had everything I needed to cook for a family of 8. Thank you it was a delight to stay in this beautiful house.

Fabulous house- dog and people friendly.
This is a great cottage, very centrally placed and with a beautiful garden. Lovely character and we even mastered the art of Aga cooking. Kitchen equipped to a high standard. Would highly recommend a stay here. Very reassured by cleaning prep prior to our visit - first time staying anywhere since start of COVID 19 - thank you!

Lovely cottage in Chipping Campden
Great location in the centre of the village. The stairs are steep and uneven (it’s a very old cottage) and the house is full of character with a great fireplace.

Christmas at Pitchers House.
Lovely warm and cosy property. Very well appointed kitchen. Nine of us had a traditional Christmas dinner around the large oval dining table. The house is well positioned in Chipping Campden to explore the excellent shops, pubs and tea rooms. Well situated to explore the rest of the Cotswolds.

Wonderful stay in this fully equipped house
Perfect for a large get together. Fully equipped and very comfortable. Was warned aga not working (shame) but large conventional one worked well. Bedroom tv on the other hand wouldn’t connect to channels. Other than that couldn’t have been better. Even had a Christmas Tree. Thank you

Perfectly quaint home
The home turned out to be better than the pictures. A group of 10 comfortably hung out in the living area by a roaring fire (had to buy our own logs). The kitchen was very well outfitted with tons of pots, pans etc that we were able to cook a great Thanksgiving. Overall, awesome experience. Thanks for having us!

Every effort is made to make this beautiful house comfortable.
We certainly felt in character in this town. The stone floors and creaky wooden floors give an authentic flavour but not so good for young children. The kitchen was well equipped and deliciously warm.
