Converted Stable Barn sleeping 6 people in 3 bedrooms.

An amazing space for family get-togethers. The snug, with french windows leading out to the secluded private garden, has a wood burner for cosy winter evenings and there is also a very spacious sitting room.Originally built in 1797 this converted stone stable is now a beautifully presented Grade II listed cottage that offers character and charm with its oak floors, exposed golden stone feature walls and underfloor heating throughout. On the ground floor is a large sitting room furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs, exposed beams, a TV, DVD and a picture window with lovely views over the front garden. Also, on the ground floor there is a snug (small sitting room) with a wood burning stove and French windows that lead to the secluded back garden, a very large fully equipped kitchen with a range style cooker, dining area that can seat up to 6 guests, a sumptuous Victorian leather sofa and a smart TV. There is also a shower room conveniently located on the ground floor.
The cottage has 3 lovely bedrooms located on the first floor, the first bedroom has a King-sized bed, the second bedroom has a Queen-sized double bed and the third bedroom is a twin room with two single beds. All of the bedrooms are furnished with charming furniture and fabrics, fitted wardrobes, exposed beams and stone walls. Two of the bedrooms also benefit from having their own hand basins. The main family bathroom has a shower over the bath, basin and a toilet. To the rear of the cottage is a pretty garden with a patio and garden furniture, providing a secluded place to relax during the summer months. There is also off road parking for guests.

All linen, towels, etc. are included.

Beautiful house
This house is so beautiful and spacious. We had lots of room to relax and cook in the giant kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the whole place has everything you would need!

Lovely stay
We stayed at The Stables with our daughter, son in law and their 4 month old twins. The accommodation is spacious and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The beds in all rooms were very comfy with lovely linen. The kitchen is very well equipped and there was fresh milk and tea and coffee left for us. The village pub, The Baker’s Arms, is a 10 minute walk from the cottage and well worth a visit, we ate there twice during our stay. Would recommend if you want to stay in the Broad Campden area.

A wedding weekend
We stayed at "The Stables" for a family wedding at a local venue. It is a spacious house, with a good sized garden, and was very suitable for our two small grandchildren. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, with lovely linen and there was a generous supply of towels. It is ideally situated for a range of Cotswold attractions as there is easy access to main roads. We can recommend it.

Ideal character cottage
We enjoyed four memorable nights at the Stables for a surprise birthday treat with family and friends. The cottage is well located in a very quiet corner of this beautiful Cotswold village. It’s really spacious downstairs with plenty of room in each part, plus a lovely secluded garden. The bedrooms are well equipped, two with sinks, and very comfy beds and bedding. Shared bathroom and large downstairs shower worked ok for us. We’d recommend it strongly.

Walker's retreat
Good location near to Chipping Campden with farm shop nearby and excellent pub five minutes walk away. For walkers, there are many footpaths radiating from here. The house is comfortable and the beds/linen excellent. The large open plan kitchen is the social centre. A few improvements could make things even better; a cafetiere or two, shower guard for upstairs bathroom, and modrnised decor.

An excellent Cotswold base in an idyllic setting
We spent nearly a week here as a family. We always looked forward to return to the cottage in the afternoon and evenings. It was great to spend time in the living room and garden. The kitchen is excellently equipped as well.

Quaint and comfortable cottage in a beautiful village
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was just as we had hoped for. Located at one end of a very pretty and quiet village. 15 mins walk across the picturesque countryside to Chipping Campden.

Comfortable cottage in a peaceful location close to all amenities.
This cottage is in a lovely village location within walking distance to Chipping Campden and all it has to offer. Very comfortable and spacious and offering all mod cons. Lovely garden which could probably be made more of. I would say that although we were allowed to arrive at 3pm, the advertised arrival time of 16.30 is too late for most parties particularly if only there over a weekend, and in winter would be pitch black. We were left coffee, tea & milk which were appreciated, but after many, many rental holidays, a personal welcome note can make arrival somewhere new, much more welcoming. Just a thought.

Perfectly placed for the Cotswolds
Located in Broad Campden, The Stables was a home away from home and brilliantly equipped for a family stay. The house is really peaceful, with a full kitchen and great social spaces - with enough room for people to get together or have their own space. The village has a pub, which is walkable and chipping Campden is only a 5 minutes drive away. We loved it and would highly recommend.

Fantastic location! Spacious holiday rental with lovely gardens.
Lovely weekend away with some friends from work. This was a good property for the price. The location was great. Towels and linens of really good quality. Good communication and really easy check in/arrival process. Free wifi too which was needed as no mobile signal! The house is really spacious with lots of different spaces living spaces to use. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/crockery etc. which isn't always the case. Also the provision of two sets of keys is really helpful. The house was perhaps a little tired in places (e.g., kitchen, bathrooms etc.) and would benefit from updating soon. Clearer information about parking at the property would also have been helpful as we weren't sure which spaces we could/couldn't park in.

Fabulous countryside stay
We had a fantastic stay at The Stables. Plenty of space for 4 adults, a 5 year old and a 4 month old. The pictures really are deceptive about the size of the downstairs space, it’s much bigger than it looks and perfect for children and adult’s alike. We loved the exposed beams all over the cottage and the garden space was lovely. Our son especially liked seeing all the bees gathering pollen! We initially had a little trouble find the cottage, but on reading the instructions from the owners we were able to find it. Though an additional note about the small wooden sign would have helped! On arrival we had a little trouble with unlocking the door and phoned up for support and despite it being a Sunday, Nick said he would come and help get us in. Thankfully we sorted it and didn’t end up needing his help, but we were so grateful that he was willing to come over. You immediately walk into a lovely hall space with the kitchen to your left and the living areas to your right. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and we loved the cooker, a fantastic space for cooking family meals. We didn’t really use the snug space or the fire but loved the comfy big living room. Very light and airy. A fantastic property in a beautiful Cotswolds village.
