Great stay
We had a great girls weekend. We contacted the manager regarding a couple of minor issues and he was extremely prompt with a response. The location is amazing and the house was perfect for us.

The property is right on the lake as promised! The home is a very nice property with beautiful views. It was a quiet place to rest, which was wonderful. Our concerns were around the "extras" that you go on vacation for. The firepit that is listed was placed in back of the property, in high grass and had not been cleaned for quite a while. This was then our responsibility to make sure it was safe to use. The kayaks listed were not cleaned, with cans and water inside of them, which we needed to clean in order to carry to the waterfront and use. There was a paddleboat on shore, however, was unable to be used and lower into the lake due to the high enbankment. We asked about the BBQ, however, that was in the garage, unclean and needed to be dragged out from the cluttered garage. Finally, when we went to watch a movie, the TV did not work. The owner was responsive to our communication, however, did not fix the issue. We had to go to walmart and purpose wiring to project from our phones. So again the property itself was nice. However, it felt more like our own summer home that we had to take care of . That part was not relaxing and a bit frustrating.

Nice lake experience, not cleaned well
We enjoyed the house itself and the lake and boats. Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. We could feel the floor was dirty and upon swiffering it ourselves, found the swiffer completely black and covered in hair. The pillows were substantially stained with yellow markings so we washed them ourselves and most of the stains came clean indicating they had not been washed in a long time. All of the chairs at the dining room table were also covered in stains that had not been treated. There were also hair clippings in the shower. The toilet got clogged while we were there so I reached out to ask if there was a plunger. They indicated there was one but we could not find it anywhere, they did not offer any other solution. I asked several times about a late check out and was told they would get back to me and they never did. They also did not give any further response after I sent photos of the dirty house.
