Sunflower House on Lake Wissota

Get ready for your vacation to begin! New construction home by award winning builder located on the Yellow River with direct access to Lake Wissota! The bright open concept living room, kitchen and dining room will allow you to enjoy each other’s company as you prepare your meals. Relax in one of the four bedrooms. Linens are included for the queen beds and the 2 full bathrooms.

If the weather is chilly, gather around the fire pit and make s'mores. Firewood is included. Games, books and puzzles are provided for relaxation, and also enjoy the game/poker table. Two Smart TVs allow you to use your personal Netflix or Hulu account so you don’t miss an episode of your favorite shows!

Enjoy the morning sunrise from the porch or the dock, which is only a few steps from the house for easy access. Bring your boat, tie it to the dock and enjoy fishing and water sports all day long.

Take a boat ride to the nearby restaurants or grill your dinner while relaxing on the covered porch. If you’re a nature lover, take a hike through Lake Wissota State Park, enjoy Ray’s Beach, or pull up to an island and play on the sandy beaches! Just minutes from the shops, restaurants, breweries, and wineries in the area.

Had a great time and was a comfortable house for adult family. Nice place to relax and play some cards. Lovely view of the lake, and we also enjoyed some local actives that got us outdoors and having fun. Would definitely recommend this home!

Great weekend get away
We stayed at the Sunflower house July 2023. We had a wonderful stay, the house was clean and the hosts answered all of our questions. Great fishing off the dock, we would definitely return!

Wonderful family getaway
Our family celebrated Christmas at the Sunflower House. Our stay was perfect. Wonderful decorations, comfortable beds, USB plugs in the night stands, toiletries to use, lots of pans. Everything we needed. It’s a lovely house with two large gathering areas. Excellent neighborhood. We will be back. Hosts are outstanding!

This is the place!
The Sunflower House is by far our favorite VRBO that we have stayed in. Clean and tidy doesn’t do it justice. Impeccably clean with absolutely everything you need. We hated to leave this little peace of heaven. This lakefront property is delightful. Imagine sitting on the dock watching herons, geese, ducks, turtles, etc. The owls called out at night. Oh, and the Northern Lights were the best we have seen. We will be back!

Annual Mother/Daughter Weekend
There were four of us and Sunflower totally fit the bill. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch as well as playing cards at the picnic table as the weather was beautiful the entire time. Very comfortable home with well appointed kitchen, including grilling utensils. Would most definitely stay here again.

This property was everything we needed. It was very clean and very well equipped. The orders were very nice and accommodating. There was firewood ready to have a campfire, the kitchen was well equipped. If I could say one thing that would make it perfect. Perfect! It would be the steps down to the lake. Could have a hand railing on them. Other than that, top notch.

Great home. Great neighborhood. House is roomy & clean. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The house is on a quiet part of the lake so we were able to dock our rental pontoon right at the house. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for a girls weekend. Lots of space, nice open kitchen, direct access to the water, and the house was very clean. Communication and logistics were seamless. I would recommend if you're looking on Lake Wissota.

Wedding Weekend
We rented this property for our wedding party for a weekend and it was great! We had a girls bball tourney in Eau Claire. This was a little more expensive than a hotel. So much better and great to be on the lake. House very new and modern. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Cousins’ weekend
We moved our annual cousins “girls” weekend to the Sunflower House this year. We couldn’t have been happier with the move. The house was great: the space, location, amenities, etc. we spent more time at the house than expected because there really was no reason to leave. So peaceful and relaxing. We definitely hope to be back!

Great property, spacious, comfortable sleeping. Fairly well equipped. Beautiful area, lots to do close by. We enjoyed Leinies, Pickleball, two wineries, golf, The Candy Shop, Olson’s Ice Cream, local coffee shop for lunch, grilling back at the property. Our only disappointment was lack of catching fish. Wedding Weekend
A group of friends was looking for a place to stay while we were in Chippewa Falls for a wedding. Hotels were hard to find and overpriced due to another event in the area. The wedding was at an apple orchard outside of town, so hotels were also not suitable due to their distance from the venue. I was happy to find the Sunflower House as it was near to the venue, could accommodate our whole group and was reasonably priced. The house was awesome! Cheri and Joel were very easy to deal with and were quick getting back to us when we had questions. Also, we stupidly left some stuff behind and they are able to hold it for us and get it to some of our other friends. I highly recommend the Sunflower house to anyone looking for a vacation spot in the Chippewa Falls area!
